A protective unit is provided for a battery module of a high-voltage battery of a motor vehicle for electrically insulating cell housings of prismatic battery cells of the battery module, which battery cells are stacked to form a cell stack. A cell-contacting system of the battery module interconnects the battery cells by electrically connecting cell terminals of the battery cells. The protective unit includes a pre-formed intermediate layer made of an electrically insulating material, which intermediate layer can be applied to a side of the cell stack having the cell terminals and can be arranged between the side of the cell stack having the cell terminals and the cell-contacting system. The intermediate layer has a number of cut-outs which corresponds to the number of cells terminals. The cut-outs are provided for the feeding through of the cell terminals when the intermediate layer is applied to the cell stack.

Protective unit for a battery module of a high-voltage battery, battery module, and high-voltage battery

A battery module is provided having a cooling apparatus including at least one first line and at least one second line, wherein the first line and the second line conduct a fluid and absorb heat from cells of the battery module and transfer the heat to the fluid. The first line and the second line extend perpendicular to the cells of the battery module. The first line and the second line are arranged parallel to one another. A flow direction of the fluid in the first line is opposite a flow direction of the fluid in the second line.

A cooling device for a battery assembly, in particular a high-voltage storage unit, of an electrically driven vehicle has multiple cooling lines in which a coolant is conducted. The cooling device is designed to transfer heat from the battery assembly to the coolant. The cooling device has at least two individual cooling elements which are designed separately, which lie opposite a battery, and each of which is supplied with coolant via a dedicated valve paired with the respective individual cooling element. A unit including a battery assembly and such a cooling device are also provided.

A high-voltage accumulator battery module includes a first connection component adjacent to a plate-shaped frame component remotely from a heat sink. The first connection component includes at least one of: an inlet first connection unit having a fluid inlet connected to a cooling channel system via an inlet fluid line connecting the fluid inlet to an inlet second connection unit connected to the cooling channel system, and an outlet first connection unit having a fluid outlet connected to the cooling channel system via an outlet fluid line connecting the fluid outlet to an outlet second connection unit connected to the cooling channel system. A second connection component is adjacent to the plate-shaped frame component at the heat sink side, and includes at least one of: the inlet second connection unit, and the outlet second connection unit. A clamping device clamps the first and second connection components against each other.

Battery module and high-voltage accumulator

A cooling device for stored energy sources, in particular for motor vehicles, is provided. The cooling device includes: multiple separate cooling modules, through which coolant can flow, for absorbing heat from the stored energy source, each module having an inflow and an outflow; a common feed line, from which the inflows of the cooling modules branch off; and a common discharge line, into which the outflows of the cooling modules open.

A method is provided for producing an assembly for an energy supply system, having an energy storage module and a plate-shaped cooling element. Between a contact side of the energy storage module and a contact side of the cooling element, a deformable, adhesive heat conducting layer is applied. Subsequently, the energy storage module and the cooling element are pressed together, wherein by way of the heat conducting layer, a dimensionally stable adhesive connection between the energy storage module and the cooling element is produced, which permanently connects the energy storage module to the cooling element. By way of the adhesive connection, the contact side of the energy storage module is bonded with the contact side of the cooling element in a planar, material-fit, durable, and dimensionally stable manner such that the energy storage module and the cooling element form a structural unit.

Method for producing an assembly from an energy storage module, and a cooling element and assembly

A cooling element is provided for at least one object, in particular for a high-voltage battery. The cooling element includes a coolant inlet, to which a refrigerant can be supplied and which is connected to a main line. The cooling element is designed to transfer heat from the object to the refrigerant. The cooling element further includes at least one distributor which distributes the refrigerant from the main line to a plurality of parallel lines, wherein the refrigerant is present in the cooling element as a two-phase mixture and the distributor is configured to distribute the refrigerant uniformly to the parallel lines.

Cooling element

A control device, and a method for operating the control device, optimizes cooling of a high-voltage accumulator using an air-conditioning system in a vehicle. A coolant flow which is insufficient is detected by an evaporator for the high-voltage accumulator and, as a result, heat losses inside a condenser of the air-conditioning system are reduced for increasing the flow of the coolant.

An arrangement for supplying power, particularly for supplying power to a motor vehicle, includes a cell module having several storage cells arranged between a first and a second plate-type element. The cell module further includes a plate-type cooling element thermally conductively connected with the bottom sides of the storage cells, and a cooling duct system being provided in the interior of the cooling element. The cooling duct system is in a fluidic connection with at least one coolant/refrigerant inlet and at least one coolant/refrigerant outlet. The at least one coolant/refrigerant inlet and the at least one coolant/refrigerant outlet are arranged in the area of a top face of the first and/or the second plate-type element.
