The present disclosure relates to an electrical cable assembly with a connector, in particular a trunk line cable assembly for a photovoltaic system, and to an assembly consisting of a module inverter and the trunk line cable assembly connected thereto, and also relates to a photovoltaic system comprising a plurality of photovoltaic modules and module inverters and AC side cabling between the module inverters and the trunk line cable assemblies, wherein the drop lines are connected to the trunk line cable by means of the connector, wherein the junction is enclosed by a two-piece connector housing which includes strain relief means for the trunk line cable and is optionally additionally overmolded.

Electric cable subassembly

A sealing element for sealing a cable inserted into a connecting housing, having a passage opening for the cable to pass through, is disk-shaped having at least one first disk having substantially u-shaped circumference, and a second disk having a substantially u-shaped circumference and resting on the first disk. The first disk has two opposite side flanks which extend parallel to each other, and the second disk has a first pair of flanks having two opposite side flanks, which are formed conically with respect to each other. On the top side of the first disk has a sealing lip which is connected to the side flanks respectively via a chamfered connecting region.

The present invention relates to a leadframe having a plurality of connections for electrical conductors, a plurality of contacts and at least two outer current bars, and to a connecting socket having a leadframe as well as to a system for transmission of electrical power, in particular from a plurality of solar modules (photovoltaic modules), having a connecting socket such as this. In order to devise a leadframe which occupies as little space as possible, at least one connection (-) is provided for an electrical conductor between the outer current bars (). This allows the leadframe to have a compact physical shape. The invention is based on the discovery that leadframes are used in the prior art to bridge the distances between predetermined contact separations, offering the possibility of producing, in one stamped part, strip conductors which have different geometries. Furthermore, a connecting socket having such a leadframe is described, and a system for transmission of electrical power using such a connecting socket.
