The invention is directed to a battery case () comprising a compartment () for at least one battery module (). Two first outer beams () extending in a first spatial direction (x) and two second outer beams () extending in a second spatial direction (y) are arranged essentially perpendicular to the first spatial direction. The first and second beams () are forming a frame-like support structure (). A tub-shaped insert () is connected to the grid like support structure () from a third direction (z) arranged essentially perpendicular to the first and the second direction (x, y). A closure () closes the tub-shaped insert () to form the closed compartment () for the at least one battery module.

Battery case

The present disclosure relates to a battery structure for an electric vehicle. The battery structure comprises a battery case for at least one battery module and a protector including a top belt, a bottom belt and a core arranged between and interconnecting the top belt and the bottom belt. The top belt has a wavelike cross section.

The invention is directed to a support structure for an energy storage device, in particular for a battery pack of a vehicle that has at least one base panel which has a first surface and a second surface and that is at least partially made from a composite material. At least one thermal transfer member is arranged on the first surface of the least one base panel. The thermal transfer member comprises at least one contact face configured to be in thermal contact with at least part of an energy storage device to be mounted on the support structure.

The invention is directed to a composite product that includes a first layer made from a plastic and a support structure and a layer of fibers arranged between the first layer of plastic and the support structure. The invention is directed to a hybrid spring device comprising an outer tubular shell, and an inner part enclosed in the outer tubular shell comprising a fiber reinforced plastic material. According to the invention the outer tubular shell is designed as self-supporting part made from a metallic material. The invention further provides suitable methods for producing such types of hybrid spring devices.

The invention relates to a method for producing a component () from fiber-reinforced composite material. In a first step, a mold () is provided and, in a second step, a surface layer () is introduced into a cavity () of the mold (). In a further step, a fiber layer () is applied to the surface layer () and is cured together with the surface layer () to form a first part (). Afterwards, the first part () is subjected to a check. If the check proceeds positively, a carrier structure () is connected operatively to the first part ().
