A switching arrangement (), in particular a polarity switching means, for a control transformer () which comprises a first winding () for a phase of an AC power supply system, which phase is to be controlled, comprises &#x2014;a first connection terminal () which can be connected to the winding (); &#x2014;a second connection terminal () which can be connected to a discharge line (); &#x2014;a vacuum interrupter (); &#x2014;an isolator (); &#x2014;a resistor () which is connected in series with the vacuum interrupter () and the isolator (); wherein &#x2014;the first connection terminal () is connected to the second connection terminal () by means of the series circuit.

Switching arrangement for a control transformer, in particular polarity switching means

The invention relates to an on-load tap changer for step transformers, which has one main current branch and one auxiliary current branch for each of the two winding taps to be switched. In each main current branch and auxiliary current branch, switching is accomplished by means of a vacuum switching tube. According to the invention, an additional mechanical contact is provided in each of the main current branches and in each of the auxiliary current branches between the respective winding tap to which said branch is electrically connected and the respective vacuum switching tube in said branch. Said mechanical contacts are switched in such a way that the vacuum switching tubes in the main current branch and the auxiliary current branch of the unconnected winding tap can be galvanically isolated from the unconnected winding tap.

On-load tap changer

The invention relates to a tap changer for the interruption-free switchover between winding taps of a tap-changing transformer. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a novel vacuum interrupter which is particularly suitable for such a tap changer. The tap changer according to the invention is based on the general concept of combining in each case one main contact (V1) and one mechanical switching means (U1), connected in series therewith, of a first load branch and an additional resistive contact (V3) of a second load branch in only a single vacuum interrupter () with a common housing (). The vacuum interrupter () according to the invention is furthermore based on the general inventive concept of replacing the functionalities of two required vacuum interrupters in accordance with the prior art and an additional mechanical switching means with a single vacuum interrupter () according to the invention by virtue of combining the design of a vacuum interrupter () with a plurality of moveable contact systems (I, II, III), which are arranged in separate vacuum interrupter chambers () which are sealed with respect to one another.

Tap changer and vacuum interrupter for such a tap changer

The present invention relates to a load transfer switch for a tap changer, comprising permanent main contacts that switch powerlessly for each phase. The general inventive concept lies in connecting the fixed permanent main contacts of side A or B of the load transfer switch by means of a movable rail-shaped permanent main contact that establishes an electrical connection to the corresponding permanent main contacts of the load line only in the end positions of the movable rail-shaped permanent main contact and in addition only provides for a single deflection for actuation, which connects in a purely compressive manner the plurality of contact fins of the corresponding fixed permanent main contact, which contact fins are connected in a resilient, articulated manner.
