A radial air bearing device includes a receptable and top and bump foils. The receptacle comprises a first end side, which contains a first depression, and a second end side and also a cutout with an inner wall. The cutout and the inner wall extend between the first and second end sides. The top foil is arranged along the inner wall and includes a first longitudinal side adjacent the first end side and a second longitudinal side adjacent the second end side. The bump foil is arranged between the top foil and the inner wall and includes a first longitudinal side adjacent the first end side and a second longitudinal side adjacent the second end side. At least one foil from the top and bump foils includes a holding lug which is on a longitudinal side, is bent in relation to the first end side, and engages in the first depression.

Radial air bearing device

A sealing unit for a turbocharger for sealing a transition from a bearing housing into a compressor housing, and a method for producing a sealing unit of this type. The sealing unit includes a sealing bush which is designed for common rotation with a shaft of a turbocharger, a slide ring, and first and second groove rings. The first and second groove rings are designed for common rotation with the sealing bush and are arranged on the sealing bush. The slide ring is arranged between the first and second groove rings in the axial direction so that radially extending sealing gaps are formed on both sides of the slide ring between the slide ring and the respective groove ring.

Sealing unit for turbocharger

A regulating flap arrangement () of an exhaust-gas turbocharger () having a flap shaft (), which is guided by means of a bushing () in the turbine housing (). A shaped sealing ring (), as viewed in cross section, has at least one cavity (). The shaped sealing ring () bears simultaneously against the first sealing surface () and against the second sealing surface (), and in order to impart its sealing action, is compressed and deformed in the axial direction () of the flap shaft ().

An exhaust-gas turbocharger () with a bearing housing (), a shaft () mounted in the bearing housing (), a compressor wheel () arranged on the shaft () and a turbine wheel () arranged on the shaft (), a housing component () which surrounds the compressor wheel () or the turbine wheel (), and a sealing ring () between the bearing housing () and the housing component (), wherein the sealing ring () is, in order to impart its sealing action, compressed in a direction perpendicular to the shaft ().
