An improved induction sealing device () is presented. The device () comprises a main body (), a magnetic field concentrator () held in said main body () and a conductive element (). One or several protrusions () of said magnetic field concentrator () cooperate with one or several indentations or openings () in said main body () such that said magnetic field concentrator () and said main body () is securely bonded together.

Sealing device with increased robustness

A sheet packaging material includes fold lines along which the sheet packaging material is foldable to form a sealed package containing a pourable food product. The packaging material comprises at least one base layer that imparts stiffness, at least one lamination layer applied to and covering the base layer; and a removable portion which, in use, is partly detachable from a remainder of the sheet packaging material and foldable at a folding zone to free a pour opening by which to pour the food product from the package. The removable portion comprises at least one aperture formed at least in the base layer and covered by a cover material, and the removable portion is crossed by one of the fold lines defining in use an edge between two walls of the package.

Sheet packaging material for producing sealed packages of pourable food products

An improved induction sealing device is presented. A sheet packaging material for producing a sealed package of a pourable food product comprises one base layer, a number of lamination layers covering both sides of the base layer, and a removable portion which, in use, can be detached partly from the rest of the packaging material along at least one arc-shaped cutting line and folded at a folding zone extending between opposite ends of the cutting line to free a pour opening; the removable portion comprises a central area made of whole packaging material and which, in use, remains attached to the rest of the packaging material through a permanent bridge defined by the folding zone, and a peripheral area for cutting interaction, extending around part of the central area, containing the cutting line and including at least one pre-laminated opening formed by a through slot at least in the base layer and covered by one or more of the lamination layers.
