A sensor line, which is configured to detect an ambient variable and which extends from a first end to a second end in a longitudinal direction, has a line core and a number of mutually spaced resistance elements with a resistance value. The resistance value varies depending on a value of the ambient variables. A measuring assembly having the sensor line is also provided.

A method for producing an elongated article with a sheath. The sheath is extruded with a predetermined wall thickness in an extrusion unit. Following the extrusion unit in a feeding direction, a part of the still moldable material is built up with the aid of a molding unit during a molding process such that a molded part forms integrally on the sheath. The molding unit is moved according to the following working cycle: the molding unit is accelerated from a starting position in the feeding direction, then it is advanced in the direction of the elongated article and the molded part is formed, the molding unit is withdrawn from the elongated article, and the molding unit is decelerated and moved from an end position, counter to the feeding direction, back in the direction of the starting position.

Method and apparatus for producing an extrudate

A cable core for a cable, in particular, for an induction cable that includes multiple such cable cores which have a conductor that is interrupted in the longitudinal direction at specified longitudinal positions at multiple separation points, thereby forming two conductor ends. An insulating intermediate piece is provided for connecting the conductor ends, and the conductor ends are arranged on both sides of the intermediate piece. The conductor and the intermediate piece are surrounded together by a continuous insulating jacket in order to form the cable core. In a preferred concept, a respective intermediate piece is arranged between the two conductor ends by two adapter elements. In another preferred concept, a respective intermediate piece, in particular, a ceramic intermediate piece, is connected directly to two conductor ends. A cable is formed from a plurality of such cable cores.

A method for producing an elongated product. By an extrusion unit, a material is extruded onto a core of the elongated product as a casing having a predetermined wall strength. Downstream of the extrusion unit and while the material is still moldable, the elongated product is supplied in a conveying direction to a molding unit. A portion of the material is held by the molding unit and, from the held material, a molded part is formed in an integral manner on the casing. The formation of the molded part is thereby carried out in an advantageous manner, via a deformation of material of the casing.

The laying aid is formed so that the cable can be rotated about the longitudinal axis during laying. The cable is laid by a method for laying the cable which extends in a longitudinal direction, in which the laying aid is provided and the cable is laid in the longitudinal direction. The cable is rotated about a longitudinal axis extending in the longitudinal direction during laying.

An induction cable contains a plurality of cable conductors each having a conductor strand surrounded by insulation. The conductor strand contains a plurality of conductor sections which are spaced apart in the longitudinal cable direction at resonance dividing points by insulating intermediate pieces. The induction cable furthermore has a coupling device on which a plurality of the conductor strands are separated forming coupling ends at coupling positions. The coupling ends are connected to each other via the coupling device. A simple providing and installing of the induction cable and a simple replacement of damaged cable parts is thus enabled.

A charging cable for an electric or hybrid vehicle has a charging line with a number of conductors for conducting a charging current of at least 2 A. An outer sheath surrounds the conductors and a plug can be attached at an end side for connecting the charging line to a current source or to the vehicle. The charging cable has at least one display area on the outer sheath for displaying an operational state. A passive function element is integrated, which extends along the charging cable, which has a coupling point for light at the end side, and which is designed for guiding the light along the charging cable and for scattering the light in a radial direction. A charging system has such a charging cable for connecting a charging station with a vehicle.

A cable is specified, specifically for a signal line, which extends in a longitudinal direction and which includes an inner conductor and also an outer conductor. Between the inner conductor and the outer conductor there is formed an insulating material which surrounds the inner conductor and which has a surface that has been at least partially carbonized. Furthermore, a production method for such a line is specified.

A cable, which extends in a longitudinal direction, has a cable core and a cable jacket. The cable jacket is extruded around the cable core. The cable is distinguished by the fact that the cable jacket has a plurality of chambers and, overall, is designed, in particular, in the manner of a hollow profile, and by the fact that a functional material different from the material of the cable jacket is introduced within at least one of the chambers. The functional material is preferably a flame proofing agent, but numerous other materials and, in general, functional elements are also conceivable. We further describe a method for producing the cable.

A sensor line, a measuring arrangement and a method detect a change in an ambient variable. The sensor line serves for detecting a change in an ambient variable, in particular the temperature. The sensor line has a first optical waveguide, a second optical waveguide and also a material that changes its transparency depending on the value of the ambient variable. The material is positioned between the first optical waveguide and the second optical waveguide in such a way that light from the first optical waveguide is able to be coupled into the second optical waveguide in an event of a change in the transparency.
