A medical-endoscopic shank instrument includes a hollow shank (), a distal side housing () in the hollow shank, an electronic picture sensor () and/or a light located in the housing. The housing is linearly movable to move the picture sensor and/or the light from within an inner lumen () of the hollow shank to outside the inner lumen. The housing is displaceable through an opening () formed on a peripheral wall of the hollow shank. An inner-lying outer side (), opposite and away from the opening, is formed on a peripheral wall of the hollow shank and is supported on an elongate carrier () which is guided in the hollow shank. The elongate carrier () is configured elastically resiliently transverse to longitudinal extensions thereof and extends essentially over a whole length of the hollow shank and is fixed in a region of the proximal end/proximally of the hollow shank.

Shank instrument, in particular a medical-endoscopic shank instrument

A shank instrument, particularly a medical-endoscopic shank instrument includes a hollow shank which between two rigid parts includes a part which is bendable transversely to a hollow shank longitudinal extension. The bendable part is fixedly connected to at least one of the rigid parts, in a manner such that two projections which are formed on a peripheral wall of one of the parts connected to one another, are arranged lying opposite one another on a peripheral wall and project in a direction of a longitudinal axis of the part, positively engage into two recesses which are formed lying opposite one another on a peripheral wall of the other part and which completely break through the peripheral wall. At the outer periphery, the parts of the hollow shank which are positively connected to one another, in the region of the positive connection are surrounded by a component.

Shank instrument

The invention relates to a surgical instrument system, which comprises a hollow shaft as well as a shaft-type instrument that can be inserted into the hollow shaft. To create a surgical instrument system that consists of a hollow shaft and of a medical instrument that can be inserted into the hollow shaft and that is both simple in construction and capable of a range of uses, it is proposed according to the invention that at least one cam that reduces the inside diameter of the hollow shaft should be positioned on the interior of the hollow shaft.

Surgical instrument system

A medical instrument includes a shaft which is connected at the proximal end to a handle, and it also includes an insert which is guided along the shaft and which is connected at the proximal end to a movable grip part of the handle. At its distal end, the insert has a tool which can be actuated by pivoting of the grip part. A lock is also provided which can be brought into locking engagement with the movable grip part. To cancel the lock function, a detent is provided which can be brought between lock and movable grip part, such that the lock function can be cancelled by the detent.

A medical puncturing serves for penetrating into a bone or a cartilage. It has a shaft and a tool carrier connected with its proximal end to a distal end of the shaft. The tool carrier has a puncturing tool being a punch or a multi-fracture chisel. The tool carrier is connected at its proximal end via a freely articulated joint to the distal end of said shaft. A stop limits a laterally pivoting movement of said tool carrier to a maximum angle of 45&#xb0;.

To produce a medical-engineering coupling mechanism that is easy to manipulate and ensures a secure notching connection of the components that are to be connected to one another, it is proposed with the invention that the notching connection consists of at least two notching hooks that are positioned on one of the components and are in active engagement with at least one spring element configured as a spring washer, and at least one notching recess positioned on the other component for insertion of the at least two notching hooks.

A medical instrument comprises a shaft which is connected at the proximal end to a handle, and it also comprises an insert which is guided along the shaft and which is connected at the proximal end to a movable grip part of the handle. At its distal end, the insert has a tool which can be actuated by pivoting of the grip part. A lock is also provided which can be brought into locking engagement with the movable grip part. To cancel the lock function, a detent is provided which can be brought between lock and movable grip part, such that the lock function can be cancelled by the detent.

The device has an arm () having a first end connected to said clamp (). The invention relates to a device for affixing to cylindrical components of medical instruments, for instance an instrumental shaft, having at least one intake part that can be mounted on the cylindrical component and can be affixed to the cylindrical component, wherein a sleeve-shaped collet chuck that essentially coaxially surrounds the cylindrical component is positioned in the intake part and whose inner diameter can be displaced between a span that can slide along the cylindrical component and a span that is in form-locking contiguity on the cylindrical component. To allow for a stationary clamping on the one hand and ensure a non-harmful clamping of the cylindrical component on the other hand, it is proposed with the invention that the inner diameter of the collet chuck can be displaced by a slider that can slide essentially diagonally to the cylindrical component and is mounted so that it can slide in the housing of the intake part.

A coupling mechanism, in particular for medical instruments, having a coupler plug and a coupler socket for inserting the coupler plug, where the coupler socket and coupler plug can be secured to one another by at least one spring-loaded catch connection, where the catch connection can be actuated by a safety mechanism and can be released by the coupler plug inserted into the coupler socket. To create a coupling mechanism that is simple to operate and ensures secure catching connection of the components and that are to be connected with one another, the safety mechanism should be configured as a spring-loaded catch element positioned in the coupler socket.
