An electrical motor vehicle vacuum pump arrangement includes a housing assembly, a pump apparatus arranged therein, a drive motor, and a sound dampener. The housing assembly includes an inlet and an outlet opening arrangement. The pump apparatus includes a pump rotor housing with an inlet- and an outlet-side face wall, and a pump rotor housing part arranged therebetween. The inlet- and the outlet-side face wall and the pump rotor housing part enclose a pump rotor chamber with a pump rotor arranged therein. The drive motor is arranged in the housing assembly. The drive motor includes a motor rotor and a motor stator. The sound damper includes a first and a second sound damping chamber, and a sound dampener element. The first sound damping chamber is connected to the pump rotor chamber and to the second sound damping chamber. The second sound damping chamber is connected to the outlet opening arrangement.

Motor vehicle vacuum pump arrangement

A vane type gas pump for a compressible fluid. The vane-type gas pump includes a pump housing which forms a pump chamber in which a pump rotor with at least one slidable sliding element is rotatably mounted. At least one fluid inlet opening and at least one elongated fluid outlet opening are dedicated to the pump chamber. The at least one slidable sliding element has a tangential width. The at least one elongated fluid outlet opening has a tangential width. The tangential width of the at least one slidable sliding element at least corresponds to the tangential width of the at least one elongated fluid outlet opening so that the at least one slidable sliding element temporarily completely covers the at least one elongated fluid outlet opening.

A vane-type gas pump includes a pump housing which forms a pump chamber in which a pump rotor with at least one slidable sliding element is rotatably mounted. At least one fluid inlet opening and at least one fluid outlet opening are dedicated to the pump chamber. The pump housing includes a closed stroke ring, a first separate thrust washer, and a second separate thrust washer. At least one stroke ring adjustment device axially clamps the closed stroke ring directly to the first separate thrust washer. At least one separate housing clamping device axially clamps the first separate thrust washer, the closed stroke ring, and the second separate thrust washer together.

An automotive auxiliary assembly vacuum pump includes a housing composite structure with an electric motor section, a pump section, a pump inlet opening, and a pump outlet opening, a motor housing part, a bearing plate which closes the motor housing part proximally, and a pump rotor with a rotor body. The electric motor section includes a motor rotor which is surrounded by the motor housing part and which is closed by the bearing plate. The pump section includes a pump housing which defines a pump chamber and which includes a closure element, at least one pump chamber inlet opening, and at least one pump chamber outlet opening. The pump housing is formed at least by axially proximal and axially distal thrust washers and a radial thrust ring. Only the bearing plate and the axially proximal thrust washer are provided as a single-piece flange element.

A motor vehicle vacuum pump includes a pump rotor, a coupling element, and a clutch arrangement. The clutch arrangement locks or releases the coupling element to/from the pump rotor so that the coupling element rotates together with or is released from the pump rotor. The clutch arrangement comprises a bolt holder connected to the pump rotor or to the coupling element to rotate therewith, an axially displaceable guide body, and a catch body connected to the coupling element or to the pump rotor to rotate therewith. The bolt holder comprises a bolt guide and a bolt body displaceable therein. The guide body is assigned to the bolt holder and comprises a guiding surface inclined with respect to an axial plane. The bolt body is forced radially into a locking position via the guiding surface. The catch body has a catch depression wherewith the bolt body engages in the locking position.

Motor vehicle vacuum pump having a switchable clutch

An electric vehicle vacuum pump assembly includes a combination, a separate acoustic barrier casing configured to encase the combination in each of a radially-spaced relationship and an axially-spaced relationship, and an annular gastight attenuation assembly radially arranged between the separate acoustic barrier casing on a first side and the combination on a second side. The combination comprises a pump unit and a drive motor comprising a rotor space, a stator space, a ventilation inlet, and a ventilation outlet. The rotor space comprises a motor rotor, and the stator space comprises a motor stator. The separate acoustic barrier casing comprises an intake connection and a discharge connection. The ventilation inlet and the ventilation outlet of the drive motor are configured to provide a forced ventilation past the annular gastight attenuation assembly and through at least one of the rotor space and the stator space.

Electric motor vehicle vacuum pump arrangement

An arrangement of motor vehicle units includes a vacuum pump, a power brake unit, a pump which pumps a hydraulic fluid with a control pressure, and a control valve. The vacuum pump comprises a pump rotor, a coupling element, a control connection, a coupling arrangement switchable by the control connection to lock/unlock the coupling element with the pump rotor, and a suction connection. The power brake unit comprises a negative pressure chamber connected with the suction connection. The control valve, when unlocked, switches the control pressure of the hydraulic fluid through to the control connection to unlock. The control valve comprises an actuator acted on by a pressure of the negative pressure chamber which switches the control pressure through to the control connection if the pressure in the negative pressure chamber is greater than a threshold pressure so that the switchable control valve is switched into its unlocked state.
