The invention relates to a telescopic boom comprising a coupling section, on the side of which at least two luffing-cylinder mounts are provided for fastening luffing cylinders to the telescopic boom. The bearing plates of the luffing-cylinder mount transition into a metal-plate box structure, the metal-plate box structure being composed of three partial luffing-cylinder boxes.

Telescopic boom and mobile crane

The present invention relates to a telescopic boom having a coupling section at whose lower shell at least one luffing cylinder mount, in particular a bolt mount, is centrally provided for fastening at least one luffing cylinder, wherein at least two closed sheet metal box structures for the load transmission from the luffing cylinder mount into the structure of the telescopic boom are provided at the support metal sheets of the luffing cylinder mount.

A telescopic boom for a crane has at least two telescopable telescoping sections in the form of lattice pieces, each of which exhibits a hollow structure that has in essence the shape of a box. The bottom chords of adjacent sections have in each instance a pinning structure to provide for pinning to each other during normal crane operations. By way of the design of at least the outer telescoping section, at least some of the force that is introduced into the pinned joint can be dissipated into the top chord of the boom.
