An electromagnetic actuating device () has an energizable stationary spool element () having a stationary core area (), an anchor unit () moveable relative to the spool elements () and the core area () and has permanent magnet elements () and a pestle () disposed on one end and having a free end section () for engaging in an actuating partner, the anchor unit () being moveable along a longitudinal movement axis (L) in at least two actuating positions (A,B), and the actuator () having retaining elements () which are spaced apart from the core area, are permanent-magnetically flux-conductive and are formed in such a manner in a third actuating position (C) between the first and second actuating positions (A,B) for interacting with the permanent magnet elements () of the anchor unit () that the anchor unit is retained in a third actuating position (C) between the first and second actuating positions (A,B) and/or exerts a predefined force potential towards the actuating partner.

The invention relates to an electromagnetic actuating device () having at least two actuator units (a,b) which are arranged adjacently in a housing () and which each have electrically energizable static coil means (a,b), armature means (a,b) mounted so as to be movable relative to said coil means, and a plunger (a,b) which interacts with the armature means (a,b) and which is mounted so as to be movable along axial plunger direction (S, S) and which has a free end portion (a,) for engagement into an actuation partner, in particular a guide groove of a camshaft, wherein the plungers () of the actuator units () of the actuating device () are preferably arranged such that the plunger directions (S, S) thereof run parallel to one another, and wherein the device () has adjustment means () which are integrated in the housing () and which serve for varying the arrangement of at least one plunger along a plane (E) perpendicular to the respective plunger direction (S, S).

An electromagnetic actuator device with a plurality of actuator units () having in each case an armature tappet which is movable relative to a stationary coil along an axial tappet direction when said coil is energised, said actuator units being received in respectively assigned actuator housings () such that in an installed and/or assembled state of the electromagnetic actuator device one respective end portion () of the armature tappets may come into engagement in a controlled manner with an actuator partner which is able to be assigned thereto, wherein the plurality of actuator units is mechanically connected to a bracket-like and/or bridge-like connecting unit () made of polymer material such that the actuator housings are movable relative to one another by the action and in accordance with a predetermined bending property and/or elasticity of the connecting unit, in particular in a plane perpendicular to a tappet direction of the armature tappets which are further preferably guided in an axially parallel manner to one another.
