A system includes a first integrated circuit device, a second integrated circuit device, and a reference clock provided to the first and second integrated circuit devices. The first integrated circuit device detects a first edge of a first clock utilized by the first integrated circuit device, detects a second edge of the first clock, determines a first count of cycles of the reference clock between the first edge and the second edge, and communicates the first count to the second integrated circuit device. The second integrated circuit device receives the first count, provides a third edge of a second clock utilized by the second integrated circuit device, determines that a first number of cycles of the reference clock since providing the third edge is equal to the first count, and provides a fourth edge of the second clock in response to determining that the first number of cycles is equal to the first count.

Low phase noise clock recovery over a data connection

A system () comprising: a first unit () and one or more second units (). The first unit () comprises: a timing reference () configured to provide a master-timing-reference-signal; a master time block configured to provide a master-time-signal () for the first unit () based on the master-timing-reference-signal; and a first interface () configured to: receive timestamped-processed-second-RF-signals from the one or more second units (); and provide a first-unit-timing-signal () to the one or more second units () based on the master-time-signal. System comprising multiple units

A device is disclosed. The device includes a plurality of ports to receive a plurality of audio streams, an audio content control unit configured to modify playback length of an audio content of at least one of the plurality of audio streams according to an input time interval, an audio decoder and a memory buffer coupled to the audio decoder and the audio content control unit. The memory buffer is used by the audio content control unit to buffer at least one of the plurality of audio streams.

Audio time stretching

A method and receiver are provided. The receiver comprises a first delay buffer and redundant data removal block. The first delay buffer is configured to delay a first data stream carrying first content. The first data stream is comprised of a plurality of compressed data blocks. The redundant data removal block configured to for each compressed data block of the first data stream: identify redundant data in the compressed data block; remove the redundant data to provide a reduced compressed data block; and store the reduced compressed data block in the first delay buffer.

Multiple source receiver

Aspects of the disclosure are directed to processing signals including data exhibiting characteristics that facilitate assessment of transmission errors. As may be implemented in accordance with one or more embodiments, parameters are generated based signal transmission characteristics and are indicative of a different types of signal characteristics, including an amount of error correction that has been carried out on the signal. Two or more of the parameters are selected based on properties of signal disturbance under different reception conditions for the signal, and a degree of disturbance in the signal is predicted based on the selected parameters and signal conditions for the respective parameters at which the signal cannot be corrected. An output generated with the signal is then controlled, based on the predicted degree of disturbance and a threshold degree of disturbance.

Received path delay mechanism

An apparatus and method are provided. A first buffer is configured to store a first packet stream, the first buffer comprising a first read pointer pointing to a first position in the first packet stream. A second buffer is configured to store a second packet stream. The second packet stream corresponds to the first packet stream and the second buffer comprises a second read pointer. A controller is configured to determine a second position in the second packet stream that corresponds to the first position in the first packet stream and adjust the second read pointer to point to the second position.

Audio data processing

A method, reception device and host device are provided for aligning data streams at a multi-source receiver. Portions of data for a plurality of data streams are received at a reception device, the plurality of data streams carrying respective content, wherein the content of each data stream is misaligned with at least one other data stream with respect to time. The portions of data are forwarded to a host device to be stored in respective delay buffers. Indexing information is maintained for each of the delay buffers. The portions of data are forwarded to the host device along with the indexing information.
