A piece of furniture or domestic appliance includes a body, a drawer element slidably arranged in the body and having two side walls. Respective pull-out guides are arranged between the side panels and side walls of the body. Each of the pull-out guides has at least one body rail fastenable to a side wall of the body and one running rail fastenable to the side panel. The piece of furniture or domestic appliance also includes at least one functional unit, which is coupled to one of the pull-out guides. A functional unit is detachably arranged in at least one of the side walls at distance from the pull-out guide, which functional unit, in a predefined position of the drawer element relative to the body, is operatively connected to a counter-element stationarily mounted on the body or on the body rail.

A method for installing a drawer and a construction kit for the displaceable mounting of a drawer element having a first and a second pullout guide, which are installable on opposing side walls, and a preinstalled device for synchronizing the movement of the movable rails of the two pullout guides using a cable pull. The side walls are preferably the side walls of furniture bodies or household appliances.

A pullout guide for domestic appliances or furniture has a first rail, a second rail and a third rail mounted to be movable in relation to one another. The third rail is fixed on a body and the first rail is connected to a thrust element. A locking mechanism is provided to lock the first rail against movement in relation to the second rail in a predetermined locking position. The locking mechanism has a locking element that is pre-tensioned in a springy manner in the predetermined locking position.

A pull-out guide for furniture parts which can move relative to one another includes at least two pull-out rails, between which at least one first roller body and at least one second roller body are disposed, which are held in a rotatable manner in at least one roller body cage, the at least one first roller body having a greater nominal diameter and a lower modulus of elasticity than the at least one second roller body of the roller body cage. The pull-out guide is characterized in that a difference in diameter (&#x394;d) between a first nominal diameter of the first roller body and a second nominal diameter of the second roller body is greater than a lower limit which is at least as great as a manufacturing tolerance (&#x394;d1) in the diameter of the first roller body.
