Various embodiments of the teachings herein include a computer-implemented method for executing a technical process comprising hierarchically structured tasks. The technical process includes modification of physical units. The method may include: providing dependency specifications for hierarchically structured tasks; deriving parallelization options from the dependency specifications; generating a first action sequence based on the parallelization options; and executing the first action sequence. The first action sequence implements the hierarchically structured tasks.

A production support system for generating a plant bill of process, PBoP, from a product bill of process, PdBoP, for a production plant, a corresponding method and a corresponding computer program product is provided. System and method for generating a plant bill of process

Provided is a state data of the technical system are captured and fed into a controller, which is configurable by control parameters, in order to control the technical system on the basis of the state data. Furthermore, complexity data quantifying a present computation complexity for the controller are captured and transmitted to a control planner. The control planner takes the complexity data as a basis for ascertaining an updated control parameter that renders the control currently more performant, according to a predefined performance measure, than as a result of the previous control parameter. The controller is then reconfigured by the updated control parameter.

Method and control device for controlling a technical system

Producing a product, differently detailed structural information about a structure of the product and digital machining information about a machining process are read in. The structural information is examined as to whether a respective item of structural information is given further detail by a respective other structure. A plurality of machining sequences are generated from the structural information and machining information so that an item of structural information from a first machining sequence is given detail by an item of structural information from a second machining sequence. The first machining sequence is transmitted to a first planning module and the second machining sequence is transmitted to a second planning module. The planning modules generate an action sequence as a planning result, which is considered by the second planning module during generation of the action sequence. Control signals are output by the action sequence generated by the second planning module.
