A sheet dispenser for a dryer appliance includes a housing that defines a storage volume and an outlet. The storage volume is configured for receipt of a plurality of dryer sheets for dispensing. A roller is mounted to the housing within the storage volume. A motor is coupled to the roller such that the motor is operable to rotate the roller. The roller is configured to urge the plurality of dryer sheets in the storage volume through the outlet of the housing when the motor rotates the roller.

A method of operating a laundry appliance includes displaying a searchable and sortable list of available cycles for the laundry appliance on a user interface associated with the laundry appliance. The method also includes receiving a user input. The user input includes a selected cycle from the list of cycles. The method further includes downloading the selected cycle to the laundry appliance and activating the laundry appliance according to the downloaded cycle.

The drum may define a drying chamber for the receipt of clothes for drying. The controller may be in operable communication with the additive dispensing assembly. The controller may be configured to initiate a drying operation. The drying operation may include initiating a dry cycle, detecting a static event during the dry cycle, and directing a supplemental dispensing action of a dryer additive in response to the detected static event.

A filter assembly for a refrigerator appliance includes a filter housing and a filter locking mechanism pivotally mounted at least partially within the filter housing. The filter locking mechanism includes a locking arm defining a retention clip and a resilient arm that extends from the locking arm at an extension angle of less than 90 degrees. As a filter cartridge is inserted into the filter housing, the resilient arm acts like a spring to urge the filter cartridge out of the housing. After the filter cartridge passes or engages the retention clip, the spring force from the resilient arm urges the filter cartridge against the retention clip to secure the filter cartridge within the housing.
