A vehicle system for providing a service to a mobile device includes a WiFi emitter configured to emit a plurality of WiFi signals, each of the plurality of WiFi signals corresponding to a respective zone within the vehicle, and a WiFi control module that selectively controls the WiFi emitter to emit one or more signals to respective zones. Each zone corresponds to a particular occupant area within the vehicle.

Vehicle system for providing WiFi to mobile devices within the vehicle

A system for providing photonic battery charging that includes: a narrow beam light control module that selectively controls at least one narrow beam light emitter; the at least one narrow beam light emitter configured to emit a focused narrow beam of light to a corresponding charging zone, the focused narrow beam of light having a frequency within a predetermined frequency range; and at least one indicator that displays a visual indication of a location of the corresponding charging zone.

System and method for photonic charging of mobile devices

A vehicle sill illumination assembly has a main body, an illumination panel and a controller. The main body includes a first portion, a second portion and a third portion that together define an inverted U-shaped structure as viewed in cross-section. The first portion has an upright surface. The second portion extends horizontally inboard from an upper edge of the first section. The third portion extends downward from an inboard side of the second portion. The illumination panel is installed to an area of the first portion of the main body such that the illumination panel faces in an outboard direction with the main body installed to a vehicle sill structure. The controller is located within the main body and is configured to control illumination of the illumination panel.

Vehicle sill illumination assembly

A vehicle is constructed to include an upper body and an underbody underlying the upper body. The upper body includes a longitudinal first side section and an opposing longitudinal second side section, and the underbody has a first perimeter portion underlying the upper body's first side section and a second perimeter portion underlying the upper body's second side section. The vehicle further includes a lighting system for illuminating the ground beneath the vehicle. The lighting system includes one or more first side lighting elements mounted at the underbody's first side perimeter portion. At least one of the one or more first side lighting elements is oriented to emit light across the vehicle's underbody and illuminate the ground beneath the upper body's second side section.

Under vehicle illumination

An emblem device includes a back plate, an emblem and a lighting device. The emblem overlies the back plate, and has a translucent portion and an opaque portion. The lighting device is disposed between the emblem and the back plate, and is configured and arranged to be able to disperse light though the translucent portion of the emblem.
