A vehicle navigation device may include a processor. The processor may receive an illumination map that includes route segments corresponding to an area. The illumination map may include a probability of solar radiation value for each of the route segments. The processor may receive a request to generate a navigation route from a start point to an end point within the area. The processor may determine navigable routes from the start point to the end point using the route segments. The processor may determine an overall probability of solar radiation value for each of the navigable routes based on the probability of solar radiation value for each route segment. The processor may identify a navigable route considering the overall probability of solar radiation values as an illumination route. The processor may generate an instruction to a display device to display the illumination route as a navigable route for the vehicle.

In contrast to the conventional approaches, the use of road conditions and/or road quality in the computation of driver scores allows for the consideration of road conditions and/or quality to improve upon conventional scoring techniques.

An example apparatus includes processor circuitry to execute the instructions to: access one or more images from a camera; detect an object in the one or more images; detect a human activity in the one or more images; build a context based on the object and the human activity; create a visual marker on the one or more images; determine a user voice command; determine a control based on the context, the visual marker, and the voice command; and cause a change in one or more of the one or more images based on the control.

Methods, apparatus, systems, and articles of manufacture are disclosed for configuring display screen coordinates. An example apparatus includes at least one storage device or storage disk, instructions, and at least one processor to execute the instructions. When executed, the example instructions cause the at least one processor to determine whether a first position of a first display screen is within a threshold of a second position of a second display screen, and in response to determining that the first position is within the threshold of the second position, adjust a first coordinate of the first display screen relative to a second coordinate of the second display screen, the first coordinate and the second coordinate to be adjusted within a graphics properties page related to configuration of content rendering between the first display screen and the second display screen.

Techniques are provided for processing video frames in a process flow that includes first and second computation engines. In an example, the first engine is an artificial intelligence based computation engine, and the second engine is a heuristics-based computation engine. A sequence of frames of a video includes a first and second frames that are two consecutive frames in the sequence. An analyzer determines whether the second frame has non-redundant information relative to the first frame. In response to the determination, the analyzer selects one of the first or second engine for processing at least a section of the second frame. For example, if the second frame has non-redundant information relative to the first frame, at least the section of the second frame is processed by the first engine. If the second frame does not include non-redundant information, the second frame is processed by the second engine.

An example system includes a light source to broadcast a light signal, a window adjuster to set a scan parameter for the light signal, and a transceiver to receive communication indicative of a physical position of a mobile unit. One or more system, apparatus, method, and computer readable media is described for reducing the GOP length during a direct pass-through of an encoded video stream format that is supported by the decoder at the sink. In some embodiments, the encoded video stream is decoded on the source device and employed to generate and insert supplemental intra-predicted frames (I-frames) at shorter intervals allowing for faster recovery in the event of lost packets/frames when transmitted to a sink display. In some embodiments, Residual Artifact Suppressed (RAS) inter-predicted frames are further created and inserted in place of any frames that reference a frame converted to a supplemental I-frame. The encoded video stream passed through will consist of all the original frames except for the supplemental I-frames reducing the GOP, and RAS inter-predicted frames modified to prevent propagation of residual induced artifacts.

A footprint of an object in contact with a surface of the capacitive touch sensor is determined.
