A system of a downhole conformable screen system including a tubular, and a screen defined by a plurality of screen segments positioned radially outward of the tubular, each of the plurality of screen segments being positioned perimetrically between two other of the screen segments, the screen being configured to expand radially to engage with an inner surface of a wellbore after the tubular and screen have been positioned within the wellbore. A method of making a conformable screen for downhole use including forming a plurality of screen segments out of a porous foam, and attaching the plurality of screen segments to a tubular to form a screen around the tubular.

A counter including a housing disposed about a tubular creating a space therebetween, a piston disposed in the space and responsive to pressure up events in the tubular to compress a transfer chamber, a supply chamber fluidly attached to the transfer chamber; a trigger chamber fluidly attached to the transfer chamber wherein sequential pressure events cause the piston to move fluid from the supply chamber to the trigger chamber. A sleeve is positioned within the passage. The sleeve includes an outer surface portion having at least one recess. At least one release member extends from the inner surface into the at least one recess. The at least one release member maintains the sleeve in a first configuration relative to the plurality of openings. At least one of the inner surface and the outer surface portion includes a self-holding connection that establishes one of a reduced diameter portion of the passage and an increased diameter portion of the sleeve. The self-holding connection is configured to maintain the sleeve in a second configuration axially shifted relative to the first configuration.

A fracturing system includes a fracturing sleeve having an opening sleeve and a closing sleeve. The closing sleeve has a collapsible seat. The system also includes a sand screen spaced from the fracturing sleeve and disposed in a same zone as the frac sleeve. The screen includes a screen sleeve having a collapsible seat, the screen seat being complementary to a plug that is complementary to the closing sleeve collapsible seat.

A method of inhibiting an undesirable fluid flow path, including pumping a flow of fluid downhole, the flow of fluid containing a plurality of shape-change particles; depositing the shape-change particles in an undesirable fluid flow path in a downhole structure; transitioning the shape-change particles from a first shape to a second shape; forming a plug with the shape-change particles when in the second shape; and inhibiting the undesirable fluid flow path from fluid flow therethrough with the plug of shape-change particles.

An apparatus and method for restricting fluid flow with a seat assembly. The seat is configured to go from a first position, in which it is adapted to engage a plug element, to a second position, in which the plug element passes through the seat. A second portion of the seat, and alternatively of a housing in which the seat is disposed, is formed of a disintegrable material. The second portion of the seat and housing comprising the disintegrable material are isolated from a fluid flow when engaged with the seat.
