A method for assembling tool having a housing into which a motor assembly and a battery assembly are inserted. A circuit board can be employed to electrically connecting the battery assembly to the motor assembly even if the battery assembly and the motor assembly are not disposed in an in-line configuration. The circuit board can include a switch that can be employed to selectively operate the tool.

Scrubber

A hand-held motorized household cleaning apparatus that includes a housing, a battery located in the housing, a motor located in the housing and connected to the battery, an output drive shaft connected to the motor, a cleaning attachment coupled for movement with the output drive shaft and a liquid delivery system with a pressurized reservoir. A flexible adapter is also provided.

A vegetation trimmer having a head, a handle and an intermediate portion interconnecting the head to the handle. The intermediate portion is configured to include a first portion, a second portion and a third portion that are each arranged about a respective axis. The first portion is coupled to the primary handle at a first end and to the second portion at a second end. The second portion is coupled to the third portion at an end of the second portion opposite its connection to the first portion and an opposite end of the third portion is coupled to the head. The axis of the second portion is skewed to the axes of the first and third portions.

Ergonomic handle for vegetation trimmer

A power cord retaining device for a portable AC powered tool. A retaining member holds the power cord plug engaged with a mating AC power jack in the housing of the power tool. The retaining member moves within the housing of the power tool from an open position to a closed position. In one embodiment the retaining member slides within the housing of the power tool. In an alternative embodiment the retaining member rotates within the housing of the power tool. In the closed position the power cord plug is held in place engaged with the mating power jack in the housing of the power tool. In an alternative embodiment the retaining member comprises a curved portion and one or more boss portions that facilitate the retention of different sized power cord plug heads.
