Apparatuses for physically securing a laptop in an open position to a display surface are disclosed. Such an apparatus comprises a main body from which fastener(s) extend downward, and left and right arms that are extendable and retractable relative to the main body. The left and right arms comprise, respectively, left and right braces. A tab extends through an opening in a bottom of the main body and is configured to transition the apparatus from a unidirectional configuration to a bidirectional configuration in response to being pressed. When the apparatus is in the unidirectional configuration the left and right arms are retractable in tandem relative to the main body, and the left and right arms are prevented from being extended relative to the main body. When the apparatus is in the bidirectional configuration the left and right arms are both retractable and extendable relative to the main body.

Adjustable security bracket for laptop computers

An apparatus for physically securing a tablet and a keyboard includes a main body, a left arm, a right arm a front arm and a top arm. The front arm extends from the main body to secure the front of the keyboard and has a first latching ratchet mechanism that prevents extension of the front arm in a first configuration of the first latching ratchet mechanism and enables extension of the front arm in a second configuration of the first latching ratchet mechanism. The top arm has a second latching ratchet mechanism that prevents extension of the top arm in a first configuration of the second latching ratchet mechanism and enables extension of the top arm in a second configuration of the second latching ratchet mechanism.

Apparatus to secure one or more electronic devices to a display table

A security apparatus secures a laptop or other secured object to a display surface. The security apparatus includes a pair of spaced apart slats for receiving a display of the laptop, or other upwardly extending portion of a secured object. The slats are mounted at each of their ends to a restraint assembly. The restrain assemblies mount to the display surface with one of the slats positioned above the laptop keyboard, or other horizontally extending portion of the secured object. When the security apparatus is attached to the display surface, all fasteners to secure the security apparatus to the display surface are inaccessible from above the display surface.

Apparatuses that secure laptops to display surfaces

Adjustable security brackets adapted to selectively secure different sized portable devices to a display surface are described herein. Such a security bracket includes a main body selectively securable to the display surface, first and second arm assemblies, a drivetrain, first and second actuators, a back support, and a rotatable shaft. The arm assemblies each include a respective pair of arms between which a portable device can be secured. The drivetrain is mechanically coupled to the first and second arm assemblies. The first actuator is configured to actuate the drivetrain to cause the first and second arm assemblies to move toward and away from one another. The rotatable shaft is mechanically coupled to the back support. The second actuator is configured to rotate the rotatable shaft in first and second rotational directions to cause the back support to move up and down relative to the main body.

Adjustable security brackets

Apparatuses for physically securing a portable electronic device to a tabletop of a display table or to another display surface are disclosed. In an embodiment an apparatus includes a main body, a plurality of arms that are extendable and retractable relative to the main body, and a plurality of braces attached to the plurality of arms, each brace configured to be secured to the portable electronic device. The apparatus includes one or more ratcheting buttons, located in corresponding holes in the main body or in arms, each ratcheting button configured to be upwardly movable within the corresponding hole with a ratchet mechanism to prevent downward movement of the ratcheting button within the corresponding hole. One or more fasteners is/are attachable to a tabletop to secure the apparatus and the portable electronic device to the tabletop.

Apparatuses with ratcheting buttons for securing electronic devices

Apparatuses for physically securing a portable electronic device to a tabletop of a display table or to another display surface are disclosed. In an embodiment an apparatus includes a main body with left, right, front, and upper arms that are retractable and extendable relative to the main body. A first circular gear engages the left arm and the right arm. A second circular gear engages the lower arm and the upper arm. A lock mechanism is provided to lock the first circular gear to the second circular gear and prevent independent rotation of the first circular gear and the second circular gear.

Geared adjustable phone bracket

A security apparatus is disclosed herein for securing a secured object to a tabletop of a display table or to another display surface. The security apparatus comprises a housing with a support surface for supporting the secured object. A pair of arm assemblies extend above the support surface and are configured to move between an open position where the secured object may be placed on or removed from the support surface. A mechanical drivetrain is provided for actuating the arm assemblies between the open and closed positions. When the security apparatus is attached to a tabletop of a display table, at least a portion of an actuator of the mechanical drivetrain will extend beneath the surface of the display table, which should be made inaccessible to the public.

Apparatuses that secure wearables to display tables and other display surfaces

Security apparatuses disclosed herein selectively secure a wearable device to a tabletop of a display table or to another display surface. The security apparatus comprises a neck, a support shelf, and a brace. The neck includes first and second neck portions configured to be selectively attached to and detached from one another. The support shelf includes first and second shelf portions, attached respectively, to upper ends of the first and second neck portions. The brace includes first and second brace elements configured to be selectively attached respectively to the first and second shelf portions, while the first and second neck portions are detached from one another. The brace is configured to encase at least a portion of a housing of a wearable device to thereby secure the wearable device to the support shelf.
