Provided is a washing machine including: a washing tub connected with an outer rotor and an outer shaft; a pulsator connected with an inner rotor and an inner shaft; and a planetary gear set mounted between the inner rotor and the pulsator and between the outer rotor and the washing tub, to thus reduce a rotational force of the inner shaft, wherein at least one of the pulsator and the washing tub is rotated during performing a washing stroke by allowing the washing tub to be rotated for a period of time when the pulsator is stopping, to thus minimize a washing machine stop time during performing a washing stroke to thereby enhance a running rate and improve washing efficiency.

Provided is a washing machine including: a washing tub connected with an outer rotor and an outer shaft; a pulsator connected with an inner rotor and an inner shaft; and a planetary gear set mounted between the inner rotor and the pulsator and between the outer rotor and the washing tub, to thus reduce a rotational force of the inner shaft, wherein the rotational force of the inner rotor is transmitted to the washing tub by the planetary gear set when a load is applied to the pulsator at the time of an initial start of the inner rotor, to thus lower a starting current and lower an end current at a time when the inner rotor is stopped, to thereby reduce power consumption.

A washing machine driving apparatus comprises: a drive motor of a double rotor-double stator structure where the drive motor comprises an inner rotor and an outer rotor controllable independently by a double stator, and optionally generating inner rotor output and outer rotor output; a first inner shaft transferring the inner rotor output as a first input; a first outer shaft rotatably coupled to an outer periphery of the first inner shaft, and transferring the outer rotor output as a second input; a planetary gear unit where a gear ratio of a transmission output generated from a carrier is controlled by the second input applied to a ring gear through the first outer shaft, when the first input is applied to a sun gear through the first inner shaft; and a protection unit protecting the inner rotor where an outer peripheral portion of protection unit is supported by the double stator.

Provided are a stator having a three-coil wiring structure, a BLDC motor using the same, and a driving method thereof, in which coils are wound by using a three-coil wiring method, to thus minimize a ratio between slots and poles, and to thereby reduce cogging noise, and a gap between cores is set small, to thus increase an effective area between a magnet and a core and to thereby reduce leakage magnetic flux. The BLDC motor includes: a stator having a plurality of split cores that are disposed between an inner rotor and an outer rotor, and on which coils of three phases are connected and wound in a three-phase drive method, in which the plurality of split cores include a number of core groups in which the coils of the respective phases are wound on three consecutive split cores in sequence of a forward direction, a reverse direction, and a forward direction, and the three consecutive split cores generate magnetic flux in opposite directions to each other.

Provided is a motor for a washing machine including: an inner rotor connected to a dehydrating tub rotating shaft and rotated together; an outer rotor connected to a pulsator rotating shaft and rotated together; and a double stator having a first coil arranged to leave a gap between the inner rotor and the outer rotor and which interacts with the outer rotor, to thereby form a first magnetic circuit and a second coil which interacts with the inner rotor to thereby form a second magnetic circuit, in which a first drive signal is applied to the first coil and a second drive signal different from the first drive signal is applied to the second coil.
