An LCD device and a method for manufacturing the same is disclosed, in which it is possible to correct a problem of insufficient or excessive supply of liquid crystal in an LCD device by controlling an amount of liquid crystal. The method includes preparing a liquid crystal cell comprised of a first substrate, a second substrate, a liquid crystal layer between the first and second substrates, and a first sealant formed in the periphery of the liquid crystal layer between the first and second substrates; measuring an amount of liquid crystal provided to the inside of liquid crystal cell; forming an inlet for liquid crystal in the first sealant; and regulating the amount of liquid crystal by supplying or discharging the liquid crystal through the inlet; and sealing the inlet.

Methods of manufacturing liquid crystal display devices

An apparatus for dispensing a liquid crystal display panel includes a table for holding a substrate, the substrate having a plurality of picture display regions; and at least one dispenser installed at a side of the table, the dispenser having at least one dispensing material to be supplied to the substrate. A dispensing method for a liquid crystal display panel in accordance with the present invention includes providing at least one substrate on a table, wherein a plurality of unit panels are to be formed from the at least one substrate; supplying a dispensing material to a plurality of dispensers; and supplying at least one dispensing material to the plurality of unit panels on at least one substrate through nozzles.

Dispensing apparatus for liquid crystal display panel and dispensing method using the same

An LCD device and a method for manufacturing the same is disclosed, to prevent a sealant from being coagulated or disconnected at a predetermined portion, the method comprising preparing lower and upper substrates; dispensing a sealant on any one of the lower and upper substrates by a dispenser; dispensing liquid crystal on any one of the lower and upper substrates; and bonding the lower and upper substrates to each other, wherein the process of dispensing the sealant includes sequential steps of dispensing a first dummy sealant in the periphery of a main sealant pattern, dispensing the main sealant pattern after forming the first dummy sealant, and dispensing a second dummy sealant pattern in the periphery of the main sealant pattern after forming the main sealant pattern.

Loader and bonding apparatus for fabricating a liquid crystal display device, and a loading method thereof are disclosed, the method for loading a substrate by using a loader having an arm with a plurality of robot fingers, and a plurality of adsorption pads on each of the robot fingers at regular intervals for adsorbing a substrate, and a bonding apparatus having a plurality of adsorption pins mounted on the upper stage movable in up/down direction for adsorption of the substrate being loaded, including the steps of the loader adsorbing, and holding the substrate at a back side thereof, and inverting the substrate, by using the adsorption pads, positioning the inverted substrate under the upper stage of the bonding apparatus, moving down the adsorption pins on the upper stage, and adsorbing the substrate at the back side thereof through the adsorption pins, removing adsorption force of the adsorption pads, and the loader being moved out of the bonding apparatus, and moving up the adsorption pins, and securing the substrate to the upper stage, whereby permitting inversion of the substrate without using an inverting device, and to prevent sagging of a large sized substrate to enable easy loading of the substrate on the bonding apparatus.
