A wireless electrical connectivity system for use in a vehicle includes a first transceiver coupled to at least one utility carrier and to a first plurality of electrical devices. The first transceiver is configured to communicate a plurality of utility signals. A control module is coupled to a second plurality of electrical devices and configured to control the selection and distribution of utility signals to the second plurality of electrical devices. The control module includes a second transceiver configured to communicate a plurality of utility signals with the first transceiver via a communication link and a user interface configured to receive user input commands regarding the selection of utility signals distributed to the second plurality of electrical devices.

Wireless electrical connectivity system for use in a vehicle

An overhead rail system for a vehicle interior includes an elongated rail configured to extend at least partially along a headliner panel within the vehicle interior. A longitudinal opening extends at least partially along a length of the rail. An article has a housing and a movable panel. The movable panel is configured to provide access to an object. A holder is coupled to the article and has a catch configured to coact with the opening in the rail, so that the article is mountable to the rail proximate the headliner panel for use by occupants within the vehicle interior.

Modular system for a vehicle

A hitch illumination apparatus comprising a hitch body assembly, a hitch attachment assembly and a hitch illumination assembly. The hitch body assembly includes a base member and at least one arm member. The base member includes a first end and a second end. The at least one arm member includes a proximal end and a distal end. The proximal end is positioned proximate the first end of the base member. The at least one arm member is pivotable relative to the base member. The hitch attachment assembly includes a hitch attachment member and a hitch body attachment member. The hitch attachment member is capable of attachment to an existing hitch. The hitch body attachment member is capable of attachment proximate the second end of the base member. The hitch illumination assembly includes at least one lamp associated with the second end of the base member. The hitch illumination assembly includes at least one clamp that is associated with the second end of the at least one arm member.

Hitch illumination apparatus

A module is disclosed for storing articles in an overhead system of a vehicle. The module includes a housing to engage an elongated member positioned on an interior overhead portion of the vehicle, a closure panel coupled to the housing to provide access to a storage area within the housing, and a first pattern of connection points adapted to interface with a corresponding second pattern of connection points on a sub-module. A method of providing a sub-module for use with a module in an overhead system for a vehicle is also disclosed and includes positioning the sub-module within a storage area of the module, aligning a first pattern of connection points on the module with a second pattern of connection points on the sub-module, and coupling the sub-module to the module.

A visor system includes a visor panel and guide for movably mounting the visor panel above the headliner of a vehicle. The guide includes an exit through which the visor panel extends when moved from a stored position above the headliner to a use position. The visor assembly further includes a pivot rod mounted near the exit for selectively engaging pivot rod engaging structure on the visor panel only when the visor panel is extended. One of the visor pivot rod engaging structure or pivot rod includes a torque control for providing a controlled torque for pivoting and holding the visor between selected use positions once extended. The pivot rod engaging structure decouples from the pivot rod as the visor is again retracted into the stored position.
