The described knee rehabilitation device can include any suitable component. In some implementations, however, it includes a sitting surface that is configured to support a user; a knee arm that comprises a leg coupling mechanism, that is pivotally coupled to the rehabilitation device, and that is configured to pivot through a range of motion; and a drive mechanism that is configured to force the knee arm through the range of motion. In some cases, the drive mechanism includes a first hard stop that prevents the knee arm from extending past a first set point, and the drive mechanism further includes a second hard stop that prevents the knee arm from being retracted past a second set point. In some cases, the device is further configured to be programmed to electronically limit the knee arm's range of motion. Other implementations are discussed.

System and methods for providing and using a knee range of motion device

A hand-held probe device capable of providing electro-stimulation and thermo-stimulation to a patient is described herein. While the probe device can include any suitable component, in some instances, it includes a probe head made with an electrically and thermally-conductive material. In some instances, the probe device also includes a temperature control mechanism that is configured to raise and lower a temperature of the probe head. The probe head is also connectable to an electro-stimulation unit (such as a transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation unit) such that the probe head is able to provide electro-stimulation simultaneously with thermo-stimulation. Although the temperature control mechanism can include any suitable component, in some instances, it includes a thermoelectric device, such as a Peltier circuit. Systems and methods for providing a thermo-electro-stimulation probe device

Systems and methods for providing light therapy traction to a patient. A light therapy device and a traction mechanism provide concurrent, alternating and/or repetitive treatment to a patient. The light therapy device includes one or more light sources configured to deliver light to a patient. The traction mechanism is configured to provide selective separation to a particular location the patient's body, such as a location of the patient's vertebrae. In some embodiments, the light therapy and traction are performed simultaneously. In other embodiments, the light therapy and lumbar traction are performed in treatment cycles to the patient. Embodiments of the present invention embrace the application of light therapy prior to, during, and/or after a cervical and/or lumbar traction treatment.
