The present disclosure relates generally to bicycles, in particular, the present disclosure provides systems and devices for converting a standard bicycle into a cargo bicycle using various detachable components. The ability to convert a standard bicycle into a cargo bicycle and back again confers many advantages, including eliminating the need for a separate bicycle for transporting cargo and encouraging the use of bicycles as a mode of transportation.

Cargo bicycle conversion system

The present invention provides for a mobile heating apparatus for heating an enclosed space to a temperature sufficient to kill bed bugs. The mobile heating apparatus has a recirculation chamber having a fresh air inlet configured to receive fresh air from a fresh air area and a recirculation air inlet configured to receive recirculation air from a heated air area. The fresh air area is located outside of the area to be heated. The heated air area is located within the area to be heated. The apparatus also has an air mixture/circulation apparatus configured to mix the fresh air and the recirculation air and an air heating chamber having a heat exchanger. A mixed air inlet is in communication with the air mixture/circulation apparatus. A heated air outlet is configured to route the heated air into the heated air area. A heating apparatus is configured to provide heated combustion flow to the heat exchanger. The present invention also provides for a related method.

Mobile heating apparatus and method

The present disclosure relates generally to bicycles. In particular, the present disclosure provides systems and devices for converting a standard bicycle into a cargo bicycle using various detachable components. The ability to convert a standard bicycle into a cargo bicycle and back again confers many advantages, including eliminating the need for a separate bicycle for transporting cargo and encouraging the use of bicycles as a mode of transportation.

The present invention provides for a reagent vaporization system. The reagent vaporization system includes a vaporization chamber located within a stream of hot exhaust gas. An aqueous reagent source located outside of the stream of hot exhaust gas provides aqueous reagent to the vaporization chamber. The heat from the hot exhaust gas vaporizes the aqueous reagent, which is then introduced into the stream of hot exhaust gas.

A garden item hanger assembly. The assembly has an upright with a first and second portion. The first end of the first portion and the second end of the second portion can be connected together by using a medial connection portion which provides a flush surface. The assembly also has a ground engaging stake with a self centering socket and a plurality of set screws to set the upright. The ground engaging stake utilizes a plurality of moment resisting surfaces to maintain an upright position against both a first and second moment about the ground engaging stake applied by the item load.

Hanging apparatus assembly and method

High tensile and torque strength threads are provided on a thermoplastic composite rod by first cutting a thread at a relatively short pitch into an end of the rod. Thermoplastic composite tape is then wound in tight conformance to the cut thread so that the fibers of the tape align with the desired helix angle of the thread to be created. The rod and the tape are heated at their junction to above melt temperatures during the winding process to increase adhesion between the rod and the tape. While the end of the rod and the wound tape are at above melt temperatures, the end of the rod and the tape are compressed in a die conforming to the desired ultimate configuration of the thread. The tape and rod are then permitted to cool until sufficiently hardened to permit release of the compressing die without deformation of the threaded end of the tape. The result is a thermoplastic composite rod having high tensile and torque strength at its threaded end.

Apparatus for pultruding thermoplastic, resin-impregnated, fibrous substructures heats the substructures to a temperature just below the melting temperature of the resin. The heated substructures are then simultaneously pulled through a passage to conform them to a desired cross section. At least a portion of the perimeter of this passage is formed by a wave guide. The wave guide is vibrated at ultrasonic frequency in a predetermined direction so as to direct the ultrasonic vibration into the substructures within the passage. The application of the ultrasonic vibration stimulates the flow of the resin in the heated substructures. Pressure is applied to the flowing substructures within the passage to consolidate them into an integral structure conforming to the chosen profile. The ultrasonic vibration at low power input does result in some heat transfer to the profile, but the flow rates of the resin exemplify an increase in flow far greater than expected in relation to the temperature increase. The result of the application of ultrasonic vibration to the resin impregnated fibers in their unmelted state is a pultrusion process which can comfortably operate at pull rates considerably better than other processes while producing a highly uniform product.
