The present invention is directed to a cable routing system with a bracket that joins adjacent cable trays. The bracket includes a main body having a top edge, a bottom edge, and sides. The top edge includes at least one notch at a center of the main body to retain transverse wires of the adjacent cable trays. The bottom edge includes a spring arm to hold the bracket in place. The bracket is attached to adjacent cable trays with a longitudinal wire of each cable tray positioned between the top edge and the spring arm to secure the bracket to the cable tray.

A cable management assembly designed to maintain cables during a short circuit event. The cable management assembly includes a ladder rack having a first side, a second side, and a plurality of ladder rungs extending from the first side to the second side. The plurality of ladder rungs include receptacles to receive the cables. Each side of the ladder rack has a plurality of holes extending a length of the ladder rack. A clamping frame is positioned over and secured to the ladder rack thereby maintaining the cables positioned in the ladder rungs.

Termination tool

A tool for testing the termination of optical connectors has a housing, a cradle attached to the housing, and a cover removeably attached to the cradle. The cradle is configured to restrain a fiber optic connector and the cover is configured to at least partially block ambient light from reaching the fiber optic connector. In another embodiment, a tool for testing the termination of optical connectors has a housing, a cradle attached to the housing, a launch fiber, and a ferrule adapter. The ferrule adapter is connected such that it rotates about a pivot point on the cradle.

A locking electrical outlet has a housing with a channel and an outlet latch within, a slider configured to move axially within the channel, a memory block, a locking plate with an opening, and a spring configured to bias the locking plate towards a first angle. The slider is configured move axially rearward relative to the housing by the insertion of the plug. The rearward movement of the slider reduces the angle of the locking plate such that a blade of the plug can move through the opening of the locking plate. The memory block is partially compressed by the slider such that it the slider engages the outlet latch of the housing, temporarily holding the locking plate at the reduced angle until the expansion of the memory block disengages the slider from the outlet latch and allows the spring to return locking plate towards the first angle.

The Thermowell extension is an adaptor that works in concert with a Thermowell and an applicable instrument. The adaptor is a male to female coupling that is adapted to interface between an opening of the Thermowell and an existing plug of the Thermowell. The adaptor raises the actual location of the opening into which the existing plug of the Thermowell is affixed in order to accommodate an insulation layer provided over an applicable pipe or conduit. The instrument is still able to extend to the closed end of the Thermowell.

The present invention is directed to a cable routing system with a bracket that joins adjacent cable trays. The bracket includes a main body with upper members, a bottom member and sides. The upper members have a space therebetween to retain transverse wires of adjacent cable trays. The sides include generally C-shaped arms extending from the sides of the main body and along the back of the main body. When the bracket is secured to the adjacent cable trays a longitudinal wire of each cable tray is positioned between the upper members and the sides of the main body.

Systems and methods for decreasing alien crosstalk use enhanced patch cords for introducing additional attenuation. The enhanced patch cords are preferably shielded to reduce alien crosstalk down their lengths and also attenuate signals passing therethrough to a greater extent than standard communication patch cords. The interaction of two enhanced patch cords results in two suppression steps for alien crosstalk and only one suppression step for intended signal passing through a communication cable.

A tool and method for using the tool for a push-pull plug with an outer housing that may be moved forwardly and backwardly along a plug housing in order to affect the operation of a latch arm. The tool has a handle, stem, and a clip on the stem on the opposite end as the handle. The clip has a pair of opposing clip arms perpendicular to the stem. The clip arms have clip ridges that face each other. The stem and clip can be made of a flexible material.

Push-pull plugs and tools

A fiber optic stub fiber connector for reversibly and nondestructively terminating an inserted field fiber having a buffer over at least a portion thereof. The connector includes a housing and a ferrule including a stub fiber disposed within and extending from a bore through the ferrule. The ferrule is generally at least partially disposed within and supported by the housing. The connector further includes a reversible actuator for reversibly and nondestructively terminating the inserted field fiber to the stub fiber. The reversible actuator includes a buffer clamp for engaging with the buffer to simultaneously provide reversible and nondestructive strain relief to the terminated field fiber.

An adjustable exhaust duct includes a lower duct section and an upper duct section. The lower duct section may be larger or smaller than the upper duct section, and each duct has four identical locking systems. The locking systems secure the lower duct section and the upper duct section.

The present invention is directed to a cable routing system with brackets that join cable trays to form the cable routing system. A bracket that joins perpendicular cable trays includes a main body and a securing clip. The main body has a bottom and two sides extending upwardly therefrom. Each side of the main body includes a deflectable side latch that engages a bottom longitudinal wire of the cable tray. The securing clip engages the main body to secure the bracket to the cable tray.

A fitting system for sealing an opening in a top cap of a network cabinet includes a grommet and at least one of a fitting assembly and a cover. The grommet is secured to the opening in the top cap of the network cabinet. The fitting assembly and the cover are secured to the grommet and may include at least one finger lift. A sleeve or a tube may be secured to the fitting assembly.

A cable routing system formed from a tray with a plurality of transverse wires and a plurality of longitudinal wires. The transverse wires form a generally flat top portion with downwardly extending sidewalls. The longitudinal wires are positioned underneath the top portion, side longitudinal wires are positioned adjacent the downwardly extending sidewalls and bottom longitudinal wires are positioned at an end of each of the downwardly extending sidewalls. The transverse wires and the longitudinal wires form a grid with a plurality of openings for routing a plurality of cables. The cable routing system also includes a sidewall removablely secured to the tray to retain cables routed thereon and a corner radius device removablely secured to the tray to provide bend radius control to cables routed along intersecting cable trays.
