A tankless water heater and manifold system is provided. The system includes a self-contained unit for providing hot water distribution throughout the system. The unit includes a tankless water heater having a hot water outlet pipe with outlet ports that function as a built-in manifold for distributing water directly from the unit through hot water lines that connect each plumbing fixture in the system directly to the unit.

A water management system is provided. The system includes a manifold with ports adapted to connect the manifold to piping that connects to various water fixtures in a home or building. Each port has a flow sensor and an actuated valve configured to shut off flow to a fixture in the event of a leak in order to mitigate damage from the leak. Water flow occurring due to a leak may be detected and mitigated based on input provided by the flow sensor and a motion sensor, a button switch, or a timer switch.

Apparatus for securing and selectively releasing a piston pump from a drive assembly including two collar segments, with one segment fixed to the drive assembly and the other segment movable only linearly transversely with respect to a longitudinal axis of the piston pump, with an over-center mechanism to lock the movable segment via a pair of links. The piston is engageable and disengageable with a drive mechanism in the drive assembly via a pair of interengaging surfaces, with one C-shaped member receiving the other member which is T-shaped.

Apparatus and method for on-board lubrication of a paint pumping piston including a reservoir for lubricant and a lubricant dispensing mechanism for delivering a predetermined repeatable amount of lubricant upon manual actuation of the lubricant dispensing mechanism. In one embodiment, a section of tubing acts as the reservoir, and in another embodiment, the reservoir is formed by a transparent or translucent chamber located adjacent an aperture in a pump housing to enable visual inspection of the level of lubricant in the reservoir. A lubricant delivery piston is actuated by an extension thereof projecting through an aperture in the housing, and a lubricant discharge nozzle is located adjacent the paint pumping piston proximate a bushing supporting the paint pumping piston. A breather valve prevents a vacuum in the reservoir as the lubricant is dispensed.

Paint spray pump

A linear adjustment operator for pressure control of paint pumps including a base, an electrical switch, a linear actuator, a spring biasing the switch towards the actuator and a lever acting on the actuator for repositioning the actuator with the switch positioned within a range of angular positions to set a desired pressure for the pump by the position of the lever. A slide operator in a bezel is coupled to the lever for adjustment by a user, with plastically deformable parts in interengagement between the operator and bezel to retain the setting selected.

Linear adjustment operator for pressure control of paint pumps

A piston pump assembly with a rotatingly driven swashplate in driving relationship with a rocker arm and piston engaged with one end of the rocker arm. A spring urges the rocker arm and piston into contact with an annular ring carried by a bearing in the swashplate. The spring may be a separate leaf spring or may be formed integrally with the rocker arm. The rocker arm engagement with the piston uses a spherical ball-joint-like surface. The contact between each of the rocker arm and piston and the annular ring utilize spherical surfaces on the rocker arm and piston, with an elongated footprint on the rocker arm and a circular footprint on the piston. The piston is allowed a slight radial play in operation.

A spray gun assembly having a paint cup, a removable lid, a pivotable syphon tube unit rotatably secured to the lid and having an intake end located inside the paint cup, and a handle attached to the pivotable syphon tube unit exterior of the paint cup above the lid. The pivotable syphon tube unit is rotatable in the lid to permit manually positioning the intake end to the lower most region of the paint cup so that the intake end stays immersed in liquid when the spray gun assembly is tilted to a particular position.
