Various embodiments of systems, apparatus, and/or methods are described for selectively obscuring a rendering of a media stream. In one implementation, the method includes receiving a media stream with a receiving device, receiving event data associated with the media stream, generating identification data based at least in part on the event data, presenting the media stream and identification data on a presentation device, receiving at least one participant selection from a user interface device, retrieving participant information based on the at least one participant selection, and presenting the participant information on the presentation device.

Devices, systems and processes for substantially simultaneous payment verification using multi-factor authentication

Techniques are described for relaying of high-band radiofrequency communications through a window that would otherwise partially or completely block the communications. For example, embodiments include a pair of high-band-to-optical (HB2O) relays mounted on either side of a window. One of the relays receives a high-band radiofrequency (HB-RF) communication signal that is unable to pass through the window and converts the HB-RF communication signal to an optical communication signal. As the window is substantially transparent to visible-spectrum light, the optical communication signal can pass through the window. The optical communication signal is transmitted through the window to the other HB2O relay, and the other HB2O relay converts back to a HB-RF communication signal. Thus, HB-RF networks on either side of the window can be communicatively coupled via the optical communications provided by the pair of relays.

Systems and methods for producing and displaying an enhanced program guide may include a method including identifying each channel viewed by a user over a period of time at an electronic device. The method may include storing data associated with each channel viewed, and may include producing a list of each channel viewed with the electronic device. The produced list may be ordered from most watched channel to least watched channel. The method may also include receiving a command at the electronic device to display an electronic program guide, and may still include incorporating at least a portion of the list into the electronic program guide at the electronic device for display.

Various embodiments facilitate secure content sharing between a plurality of receiving devices, such as set-top boxes. One embodiment is a system with a distribution server communicatively coupled via a satellite communication system to a plurality of set-top boxes that are located at different customer premises. The distribution server is operable to provide access control information via the satellite communication system to a first set-top box and a second set-top box of the plurality, with the access control information enabling the first set-top box to securely share content of the first set-top box with the second set-top box. Testing systems and methods are operable to perform diagnostic testing of a remote electronic device under test (DUT). An exemplary embodiment establishes a communication link between a diagnostic test device and the electronic DUT, receives a plurality of diagnostic commands from the electronic DUT, each of the plurality of diagnostic commands defined by at least one device diagnostic instruction (DDI) and a corresponding DDI description; generates a diagnostics script based upon selection of at least one of the diagnostic commands, wherein the generated diagnostics script includes at least one return device diagnostic instruction (RDDI) corresponding to the selected at least one diagnostic command; and transmits the at least one RDDI from the diagnostic test device to the DUT.
