Joiner for conduit for routing cable

A fiber optic connector includes a boot receiving an optical fiber; a connector body for receiving the optical fiber and terminating the optical fiber; and a latch coupled to the connector body, the latch for engaging an adapter for receiving the fiber optic connector, the latch repositionable relative to the connector body to enable polarity change of the fiber optic connector without changing a relative position of the connector body and the optical fiber.

An optical fiber termination tool includes a tool base having a pocket to receive a mechanical splice optical fiber connector; a lever hingedly connected to the tool base, the lever including a wedge; and a slide mounted to the lever, the slide slidable relative to the lever, the slide movable from a first position to a second position to move the wedge from a disengaged position to an engaged position.

A telecommunications plug for use with a cable having a plurality of wires arranged in a plurality of pairs, the telecommunications plug includes: a housing; a load bar positioned within the housing, the load bar positioning the wires relative to each other; an isolator positioned in the housing, the isolator being conductive and isolating a first pair of wires, a second pair of wires, a third pair of wires and a fourth pair of wires; and a first notch disposed in the isolator, the first notch is sized to control a cross talk between the first pair of wires and the second pair of wires.

An exemplary embodiment of the invention is a telecommunications plug for use with a cable having a plurality of wires arranged in a plurality of pairs. The telecommunications plug includes a housing and a load bar positioned within the housing. The load bar positions wires relative to each other in the housing. An isolator is positioned in the housing and is conductive for isolating a first pair of wires from a second pair of wires.
