A worksurface assembly includes a support structure and a top portion that is movable relative to the support structure. The worksurface assembly may include a mounting rail configured to support various accessory units. A utility supply system is provided, and the top portion of the worksurface assembly may be moved to provide access to the utility supply system. A mechanism provides for controlled movement of the top portion of the worksurface assembly relative to the support structure.

Worksurface assembly

An office furniture unit has an outer face with slotted hangers, and a removable storage unit assembly including a bottom panel positioned in a generally horizontal orientation along the office furniture unit, and a top panel disposed above and generally parallel with the bottom panel. First and second panels are disposed at opposite ends of the top and bottom panels and are connected therewith to define a rigid, box-shaped case having an open back portion. The first and second end panels have rear portions with multiple vertically spaced slots. First and second hanger brackets have a rear portion with first hooks selectively received in the slotted hangers of the office furniture units, and a forward portion with second hooks selectively received in the slots in the rear portions of the first and second end panels to detachably support the case against the outer face of the office furniture unit.

Furniture storage unit

An apparatus configured to allow the retention of at least one display board with a mounting structure is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a retaining system. A portion of the retaining system is deformable to retain at least one display board in a press-in, interference engagement. The apparatus may also include a mounting structure such as an easel. An apparatus for use with one or more display boards is also disclosed. The apparatus comprises a mounting structure including a base and a first panel coupled to the base. The first panel is configured to support the one or more display boards and to be selectively movable between a first position and a second position.

Display board system

An apparatus for display of information in a work environment is disclosed. The apparatus includes a display board having a substantially solid core and defining a first side having a first surface and a second side opposite of the first side having a second surface. A first surface treatment may include a reusable adhesive and a clear film cover over the reusable adhesive. The display board may have a generally rectangular shape and may include a plurality of corner members and a mounting structure. A mounting structure for at least one display board is also disclosed. The mounting structure may include a pivotal interface adapted to engage a mounting interface of the display board so that the display board is removably pivotally mounted within the mounting structure. An easel for use with a first display board is further disclosed. The easel may include a base, a frame coupled to the base, a storage area formed by the frame, and a panel coupled to the frame. The panel may include a tray coupled to the panel and a compliant member. A first display board can be placed on display on the tray and pressed into secure engagement with the compliant member, and a plurality of display boards can be stored in the storage area. An easel may include a front support member, a pivoting rear support member, a collar, a pivot member, and a tray so that a display board is supported by the tray and the front support member. Other display board and mounting structures may be provided in alternative arrangements. The display board system may include any of a wide variety of accessories and related or associated items and articles.

A mounting system for use in a work environment is disclosed. The system includes a mounting bracket having a first side and a second side. Either side of the mounting bracket is adapted for selective coupling to one of a mounting structure or an accessory. The mounting system also includes a first mounting interface associated with the first side of the bracket and a second mounting interface associated with the second side of the bracket. A sub-interface extends from each of the first mounting interface and the second mounting interface comprising an expansion member configurable between a first effective average cross-sectional dimension and a second average effective cross-sectional dimension and adapted for receiving a fastener. A mounting bracket including a first side and a second side is also disclosed. The mounting bracket includes a first mounting interface associated with the first side of the mounting bracket and a second mounting interface associated with the second side of the mounting bracket. Either mounting interface of the mounting bracket is adapted for selective coupling to a mounting structure. The mounting bracket also includes a sub-interface for engaging an accessory and an expandable member adapted for receiving a fastener attached to the mounting bracket. A mounting system kit adapted for installation in a work environment is also disclosed. The kit includes a mounting structure an accessory and a mounting adapter. A method of using a mounting bracket is also disclosed.

Mounting system

An office furniture system includes a furniture unit, such as a binder bin or main shelf, mounted to a partition. A display shelf assembly is mounted to the furniture unit, and includes a movable shelf, a first bent-wire support fixedly attached to the furniture unit and slidingly attached to the shelf, and a second bent-wire support operably pivotally attached to the furniture unit and pivotally attached to the shelf. The first and second support members are configured to support the shelf through a range of motion between a substantially horizontal storage position and a vertically inclined display position. In one embodiment, the second support is operably attached to the furniture unit for both pivoting and sliding movement.

Document display shelf apparatus

A furniture system for outfitting a building space, includes a plurality of partition frames, each having horizontally spaced apart uprights with opposing sides, and having horizontal frame members connecting the uprights. A top one of the horizontal frame members is one-piece and attached to a top of the uprights. The top one horizontal frame member includes opposing side faces that are spaced apart a distance greater than the opposing sides and that include cover-supporting connectors. Cover panels are provided having frame-engaging connectors extending horizontally beyond an inside surface of the frame. The frame-engaging connectors are configured to releasably engage the cover-supporting connectors. This allows the cover panels, when attached to the partition frames, to define an internal cavity in the frame that extends horizontally a width of the frame and vertically substantially the height of the frame. This in turn allows utilities to be flexibly routed vertically and horizontally within the partition frame, and from partition frame to partition frame.

Partition construction

A partition panel includes a partition frame with a planar face having clip-receiving apertures for supporting cover panels and bracket-receiving apertures for supporting furniture components. A pair of cover panels configured to cover the partition frame include side edges that define a gap therebetween for providing access to the bracket-receiving apertures when the cover panels are attached to the partition frame. Clips on the cover panels are constructed to releasably engage the clip-receiving apertures for retaining the cover panels on the partition frame in a coplanar arrangement. The clips each include an antidislodgement tooth for interlockingly engaging a back surface of the face when the clips are engaged with the clip-receiving apertures, and further include a release tab that is depressible to move the tooth to a disengaged position for releasing the clip from the associated clip-receiving aperture. The clips are located at a position spaced away from the gap and behind the cover panels so that the clips are not visible through the gap from a position in front of the cover panels. A flexible strip is attached to one of the cover panels for covering the gap when the cover panels are attached to the partition frame in a coplanar and adjacent position thereon.
