A method for generating a live VR broadcast of a three-dimensional (3D) virtual reality (VR) performance environment is provided. The 3D VR performance environment includes 3D VR avatars corresponding to performers performing on a performance area of a concert space, with the performers being separated by a predetermined distance selected to prevent transmission of airborne pathogens between the performers while performing. The 3D VR avatars are displayed on a VR performance area representing the performance area. The facial expressions and body movements of the 3D VR avatars are synchronized with audio data of the performers. The 3D VR avatars are displayed within the VR performance area at relative locations that appear separated by less than the predetermined distance. Audience devices provide audience feedback data that is outputted in real time to the performers.

Interactive virtual reality broadcast systems and methods

An automotive vehicle includes an internal combustion engine that generates exhaust gas and an exhaust system that expels the exhaust gas from the vehicle via at least one of a first exhaust conduit and a second exhaust conduit. An exhaust valve has a plurality of positions and adjusts an amount of the exhaust gas delivered to the first and second exhaust conduits. The automotive vehicle further includes an electronic hardware controller in signal communication with the at least one disturbance sensor and the exhaust valve. The controller adjusts the position of the exhaust valve based on the disturbance signal to reduce the disturbance within the cabin.

A sound control module is configured to, based on a type of road over which a vehicle is traveling and a smoothness of the road, at least one of: determine a first frequency and a first increase at which to increase a first magnitude of a microphone signal; and determine a second frequency and a first decrease at which to decrease a second magnitude of the microphone signal. A system according to the present disclosure includes a launch identification module and a speaker control module. The launch identification module is configured to monitor a speed of a vehicle and identify a vehicle launch when the vehicle speed increases from zero to a value greater than zero. The speaker control module is configured to monitor an acceleration of the vehicle control a speaker in a cabin of the vehicle to play a first sound that simulates a sound produced by at least one of an engine and a driveline during a vehicle launch when a vehicle launch is identified and the vehicle acceleration is greater than a predetermined acceleration. The speaker control module is also configured to control the speaker to not play the first sound during a vehicle launch when a vehicle launch is identified and the vehicle acceleration is less than or equal to the predetermined acceleration.
