A method may use location information to transmit alert information to a communications device. Such a method may include receiving location information identifying a physical location of a mobile device; responsive to receiving an indication of communication intended for the mobile device, selecting an alerting tone based on the physical location of the mobile device; and providing instructions to adjust an alerting mechanism of the mobile device based on the selecting of the alerting tone. Selected embodiments of the present disclosure provide methods, systems and media for systematically processing electronic communications for conditionally incrementing resources. In certain embodiments, electronic communications are received and processed in order to evaluate potential realization assistance functions by potential realization assistants according to processes that include resource incrementations that are conditioned on satisfactory potential realization function processing. One embodiment of the present is a method of implementing privacy control of location information. Such a method comprises defining a geographic zone for which pseudo-location information is to be reported as the current location of the user, wherein the pseudo-location information is not the current location of the user; receiving the current location of the user; determining that the current location is in the geographic zone; and reporting the pseudo-location information as the current location of the user when the current location is determined to be in the geographic zone. One embodiment of the present is a method of using location information to transmit alerting information to a communications device. Such a method comprises receiving location information regarding a communications device; selecting alerting information based on the location of the communications device; and transmitting to the communications device information pertaining to the alerting information. A method, system, and computer program product for responding to an incoming communication attempt, sent from a sender to a recipient. The method includes receiving the incoming communication attempt and presenting options for responding to the incoming communication attempt. The options include at least one of acknowledgement message options and communication answering-related options. The method also includes receiving an option selection and responding to the incoming communication attempt according to the instructions of the selected option. The acknowledgement message options provide information to the sender without requiring that the recipient answer the incoming communication attempt.

Methods, systems, and computer program products for providing automated call acknowledgement and answering services

Selected embodiments of the present disclosure provide systems, methods and media for receiving prospective indication information and processing the received prospective indication information to generate result information. In certain embodiments, among others, a user is prompted to provide the prospective indication information, and at least a portion of the prospective indication information is converted into a common measurement system format and subsequently balanced in combination with other prospective indication information in the common measurement system format to generate balanced combination result information. In some embodiments, the processing further includes generating a result communication based at least in part upon the balanced combination result information, identifying a recipient for the result communication based at least in part upon the balanced combination result information, and transmitting the result communication to the recipient. Information processing system for processing prospective indication information

Methods for providing group swarm metrics and content are described herein. In different aspects, the methods may include compiling a content access metric. The methods may also include determining a threshold metric for a user. Further, the methods may include generating a notification message for the user when the compiled content access metric reaches the threshold metric. The methods may additionally include delivering the notification message to the user. The techniques described herein may enable the user to retrieve the content.

One embodiment of the present is a method of using location history to optimize communications with perspective customers. Such a method comprises analyzing a user's location history over a period of time; detecting an indication of user interest in sellable items based on at least the location history; and sending a message to the user about a sellable item that is determined to be of interest to the user. Location-based targeting

The present invention discloses in one embodiment a mobile telephone capable of communicating with a home base station through radio signals. The mobile telephone registers with a home base station before beginning to communicate with the home base station. The home base station is capable of sensing the presence of the mobile telephone in its coverage area and subsequently establishing contact with the mobile telephone, if the mobile telephone is registered with the home base station. The home base station can support a plurality of telephone devices, including corded and cordless telephone devices, and provides call placement and answering services to these telephone devices if there is a registered mobile telephone within its coverage area.
