A method at a computing device for sharing data, the method including defining a dynamically linked data library (DLDL) to include executable code; loading the DLDL from a first process, the loading causing a memory allocation of shared executable code, private data and shared data in a physical memory location; mapping the memory allocation of shared executable code, private data and shared data to a virtual memory location for the first process; loading the DLDL from a second process, the loading causing mapping of the memory allocation of shared executable code and the shared data for the first process to be mapped to a virtual memory location for the second process; and allocating private data in physical memory and mapping to a virtual memory location for the second process.

Method and system for low latency data management

A method at a computing device for data management between a publisher and at least one subscriber, the method including receiving, at a system element, memory requirements from the publisher; creating a memory allocation of a pool of data objects for the publisher based on the received memory requirements; receiving, at the system element, consumption criteria from each of the at least one subscriber; and adjusting the memory allocation of the pool of data objects based on the consumption criteria received from the at least one subscriber.

A system and method for securing communication across an in-vehicle bus, includes establishing a connection between a gateway in a vehicle and the in-vehicle bus; generating a session key at the gateway within the vehicle; transmitting a public key certificate and ephemeral key to the gateway and an electronic control unit of the vehicle; generating a shared secret at the gateway and the electronic control unit, respectively; encrypting the session key with the shared secret at the gateway; receiving the encrypted session key through the in-vehicle bus at the electronic control unit; and decrypting the encrypted session key based on the shared secret generated at the electronic control unit.

In-vehicle networking

Systems and methods to provide location specific assistance are presented. A condition at a geographic location may be identified that is sensed in an environment of a vehicle and that a first autonomous vehicle control system is unable to, without location specific assistance, perceive, interpret and/or react to if navigating an area. A course at the geographic location that was previously determined by a second autonomous vehicle control system and/or followed by a person-driven vehicle when the condition was present at the geographic location may be found. The vehicle may be caused to follow the course previously determined by a second autonomous vehicle control system and/or followed by the person-driven vehicle.
