A medical device safety support apparatus features a clamp member configured to be attached to an IV pole, a bed rail, or other support structure. A medical device support member extends from the clamp member and is configured to support a cooperatively configured medical device. The medical device support member may include a socket which receives a post that extends from the medical device, and a lockdown member having a set-screw portion and a handle is provided to secure the post within the socket. The post has a circumferential channel in which the set-screw portion seats, thereby allowing the post to be retained within the socket when the lockdown member is loosened so as to prevent the medical device from being removed from the support member.

Medical device safety support with infinite positioning

An administration feeding set for use with a flow control apparatus to deliver fluid from at least one fluid source to a patient. The feeding set includes tubing adapted to extend from the fluid source for flow of fluid through the tubing from the fluid source toward a patient. A locating finger projects outwardly from the tubing and is positioned on the tubing so that when received on the flow control apparatus in an operating position the finger permits a locating member of the flow control apparatus to close. However, when the tubing is received on the flow control apparatus in a non-operating position the finger does not permit the locating member to close thereby to verify whether the tubing is in the operating position on the flow control apparatus.

The thermometer is easy and comfortable to hold and allows the user to operate the thermometer with one hand. The thermometer holds a probe and a container of probe covers in a convenient and compact configuration. A battery door is particularly constructed to avoid accidental opening. A bottom of the thermometer is formed to hold the housing in an upright position when the bottom is placed one a horizontal surface.
