Tampon packaging and disposal systems and methods are disclosed. The packaging has a flexible mitten and an optional attached tampon enclosure. The tampon enclosure can package a tampon and the flexible mitten wraps around the tampon enclosure. When unwrapped, the tampon enclosure is detachable from the mitten and the tampon can be used by a user. The mitten is used for removing the used tampon worn by the user and disposing of the used tampon after removal.

A method of analysis of long record length data using mark duration includes displaying together with a portion of the long record length data each mark that identifies a specified feature of interest together with the mark duration. Associated with the mark may be text identifying the feature of interest, measurement values associated with the duration of the mark, or a combination thereof. Multiple sets of marks may be generated for the long record length data, which sets may be combined to generate new marks with duration. The marks also may be filtered to further refine the marks to be displayed according to user specified criteria. In this way analysis of long record length data representing an acquired signal may be readily automated so a user may move from one interesting event to another without having to pan through the long record length data.

Mark extension for analysis of long record length data

A simple, integrated control for pan and zoom of a display of data represented by a very long data record is in the form of a control knob having an outer ring for controlling pan and an inner knob for controlling a zoom factor. A zoom function is turned ON either by turning the inner knob (setting the zoom factor to a default value) or by (i) pressing an adjacent zoom or pan button or (ii) turning the outer ring (setting the zoom factor to a prior value when the zoom function was turned OFF). The zoom function may be turned OFF by turning the inner knob to set the zoom factor to 1&#xd7; or by pressing the zoom button. The outer ring has individual positions divided into two groups: one group for controlling pan rate within a zoom window displaying a portion of the very long data record defined by a zoom box within a main window displaying the very long data record; and the other group for controlling pan rate of the zoom box within the main window for rapid movement from one end of the record to another.

Simple integrated control for zoom/pan functions

A test and measurement instrument includes a memory configured to store a digitized signal, a display configured to display the digitized signal, a mark interface configured to generate a mark creation signal, a processor coupled to the memory, the display, and the mark interface. The processor is configured to identify a feature of the digitized signal and create a mark indicating the feature and the digitized signal in response to the mark creation signal.

User-placed marks in a long record length waveform

A hand-held probing adapter secures a measurement probing system having a probe body coupled to a probing tip member via at least a first coaxial cable. The adapter has a housing with an interior cavity exposed at opening in opposing ends of the housing. The housing has a first portion at one end of the interior cavity for receiving the probe body and a second portion at the other end of the cavity for receiving the probing tip member. The first portion of the housing has means for securing the probe body in the housing, such as rib and slot combination. The second portion also has means for securing the probe tip member in the housing, such as with a pin in the interior cavity of the housing engaging a slot in the probe tip member. A portion of the probe tip member is exposed at one of the openings in the housing. Compliant members disposed in the second portion of the interior cavity providing axial and lateral rotation movement of the probing tip member.

Hand-held probing adapter for a measurement probing system

An electronic instrument with a housing in the form of a rectangular body. The housing has a front panel with a display screen, and opposed side panels extending perpendicularly from the front panel to a rear panel. The housing defines a cavity adjacent to the rear panel and at least one of the side panels. The cavity includes a recessed panel portion having attached electronic connectors, so that cables connected to the connectors can flex to avoid protruding from the side panel to facilitate rack mounting, and may extend without protruding from the rear panel for bench usage. A circuit board to which the connectors and a microprocessor are connected may be oriented parallel to the rear panel, allowing a limited front-to-rear depth for the housing.
