An automatic transmission shifter mechanism that is selectable between an automatic transmission mode and a manual shifting mode, including a shifter assembly, a pin attached to the shifter assembly, a first slotted plate to selectively receive a first portion of the shifter assembly, and a detent plate configured to receive the pin at different gear positions, wherein selected shifter assembly positions in the automatic transmission mode are maintained by the pin being located within a corresponding detent of the detent plate, and wherein movement of the first portion of the shifter assembly into the first slotted plate causes the pin to move out of range of detents in the detent plate such that an operator can shift between drive gears in the manual shifting mode.

Shifter mechanism with manual shift function

Sealing adapters, pressure testing systems, pressure testing system kits, and associated methods. A sealing adapter comprises an adapter body and a mounting flange extending radially away from the adapter body. The adapter body includes a first end with a first sealing surface, a second end, and a fluid passageway. The mounting flange defines a plurality of stud receivers configured to receive mounting studs of a device under test (DUT). A pressure testing system may comprise a frame, a clamp structure with at least one sealing adapter, and a pressurizing assembly for delivering a pressurized fluid to the DUT. A method of pressure testing a DUT may comprise operatively coupling the DUT to the pressure testing system and delivering the pressurized fluid to the DUT.

Methods comprise machining each of an annular planar surface and a linear planar surface of a workpiece using a combination flange facer and milling machine. Methods comprise using a machine frame of a flange facer and a rotating ring of the flange facer to mount a milling machine to a workpiece, and machining the workpiece using the milling machine when it is coupled to the rotating ring of the flange facer. Portable machining kits comprise a flange facer and a milling machine that is configured to be operatively mounted to the rotating ring of the flange facer. Portable machine tools comprise a machine frame, a rotating ring, a bridge coupled to the rotating ring, a facing tool head assembly configured to be selectively coupled to and decoupled from the bridge, and a milling tool head assembly configured to be selectively coupled to and decoupled from the bridge.

Portable machine tools, kits, and methods for machining annular and straight planar surfaces

An automatic transmission shifter mechanism that is selectable between an automatic transmission mode and a manual shifting mode, including a shifter assembly configured to move in a first range of movement to be positioned in the automatic transmission mode, and to move in a second range of movement to selectively shift gears up and down in the manual shifting mode, a first sensor configured to sense that the shifter assembly is in the automatic transmission mode in response to the shifter assembly being in the first range of movement, and at least a second sensor configured to sense gear changes in the manual shifting mode, wherein the shifter assembly is configured to be selectively moved laterally from the first range of movement to the second range of movement when in a drive mode in the first range of movement.

Adjustable motor vehicle pedal

An adjustable vehicle control pedal comprises a first arm having a first end rotatable along a plane between first and second positions. The first end defines a first through opening extending nonparallel to the plane. A second arm has a first end defining a second through opening extending nonparallel to a long dimension of the second arm. The second arm is repositionable in relation to the first arm among a plurality of positions in which the first and second through openings are in substantially coaxial adjacent registration with one another. An insert is receivable through the first and second through openings in each of the plurality of positions to lock the second arm against rotation in relation to the first arm along the plane. A position sensor is responsive to movement of the first arm between the first and second positions.

An apparatus for providing haptic feedback to an operator of a vehicle is described including a pedal, torque motor, actuator and controller. The pedal is rotatable between a closed position and an open position. The torque motor applies rotational force to the pedal. The actuator is rotatably positioned between the torque motor and pedal. The controller provides haptic feedback to the operator by sending a haptic signal via the torque motor, actuator and pedal in which rotational force is applied to the pedal to rotate the pedal toward the closed position.
