A shock mount assembly for a sensor protector apparatus is provided. The shock mount assembly comprises a support structure having a geometric configuration, with the support structure including at least one side wall having an outer edge section that defines a periphery of the support structure, and at least one mounting surface substantially perpendicular to the side wall. The mounting surface is configured for coupling at least one electronic device to the support structure. A shock absorber is mounted to at least a portion of the outer edge section, with the shock absorber substantially surrounding the periphery of the support structure. The shock mount assembly is configured for a non-isolated system, and is configured to protect the electronic device during vibration or shock events.

Systems and methods for providing vibration isolation for a MEMS device are provided. In at least one embodiment, a system comprises a first assembly and a second assembly, wherein the second assembly and the first assembly are joined together, enclosing the MEMS device, wherein the joined first assembly and the second assembly have a recessed groove formed on an interior surface. Further, the system comprises a rigid support encircling the MEMS device, the rigid support fitting within the recessed groove; and at least one mount isolator in contact with a plurality of surfaces of the rigid support, wherein the at least one mount isolator interfaces the plurality of surfaces of the rigid support with the first assembly and the second assembly, when the first assembly and the second assembly are joined together.

Systems and methods for high frequency isolation

Disclosed is a vibration isolator system for mounting an inertial sensor assembly (ISA) to a support that is subject to shock and vibration. The vibration isolator system includes a ring shaped elastomeric member, and ring shaped outer and inner members. Both the outer and inner members are fixed to the elastomeric member. In addition, the outer member is secured to the support and the inner member is secured to the ISA. The elastomeric member isolates the ISA from shock and vibration that may otherwise be transmitted from the support to the ISA.
