A multi-site injection system includes a plurality of medicament delivering needles/microprotrusions, a needle/microprotrusion support, a supply of medicament, and a mechanism for providing the medicament to the plurality of needles/microprotrusions in order to effect delivery into a stratum corneum of a user.

Multi-site injection system

A multi-site injection system () in accordance with the present invention generally includes a plurality of medicament delivering needles/microprotrusions () along with a support therefore. A supply of medicament () is provided and a means provided for supplying the medicament to the plurality of needles/microprotrusions in order to effect delivery into a stratum corneum () of a user.

The present invention relates to packaging materials for ophthalmic solutions. Difficulties with water loss in standard ophthalmic bottles are overcome in the controlled drop dispensing container of the present invention. This controlled drop dispensing container comprises a dispensing tip, a laminate tube, and a shoulder connecting the laminate tubeto the dispensing tip. The dispensing tipcomprises an inner orifice having a diameter sufficiently small to restrict flow of liquid contents of the tube to the desired level, an outer orificehaving a diameter sufficiently large to form a drop of the desired size from the liquid contents of the tube, where fluid communication exists between the inner orifice and the outer orifice. The laminate tubecomprises an outer polymeric layer, an optional first tie layer, a middle barrier layer, an optional second tie layer, an inner polymeric layer. Preferably, the controlled drop dispensing containeralso comprises a capand a reusable sealbetween the capand the dispensing tip. In another preferred embodiment of the invention, the capalso comprises a tamper evident tear strip

Controlled drop dispensing container

A controlled volume injection/aspiration device includes a syringe having a body for containing a medicament, a needle and a piston slidably disposed within the body. A shell is provided for receiving the syringe body and a plunger rack is disposed within the shell. A manually operated control is disposed in an operative relationship with the plunger rack for moving the plunger rack in a stepwise forward direction causing the piston to eject discrete doses of medication from the syringe body through the needle. The manual operated control is also operative for moving the piston in a stepwise reverse direction causing the piston to aspirate fluid into the syringe body through the needle.

Controlled volume injection/aspiration device

A needleless microprotrusion method for infusion of a medicament into a patient includes disposing a substrate plurality of microprotrusions onto a patients' palm. A chemodenervating agent is disposed for delivery by the microprotrusions and the substrate supports and conforms the microprotrusions to the patients' palm in order to enable uniform penetration of the microprotrusions into the corneum.

Method of delivering a medication

An apparatus and methods for delivering ocular implants or microimplants. The apparatus is ergonomically designed for ease of use, and a simple manual depression of an actuator produces proportional movement of a linkage causing the implant or microimplant to be ejected through a cannula disposed at the desired location in the eye. Small gauge cannulas are provided for self-sealing methods of delivery.

Apparatus for delivery of ocular implants

A needleless microprotrusion system for infusion of a medicament into a patient includes a plurality of microprotrusions having a length sufficient to penetrate a stratum corneum of the patient. A chemodenervating agent is disposed for delivery by the microprotrusions and a substrate is provided for supporting the microprotrusions and conforming the microprotrusions to a patient's palm in order to enable uniform penetration of the microprotrusions into the corneum.

Needleless microprotrusion elastoplast system

A terminally sterilizable container includes a polypropylene bottle having a body with a manually squeezable sidewall and a thickness preventing water loss. The bottle body includes shoulders for providing autoclave produced pressure distribution and deformation resistance along with an elongated tips outfitted to a neck of the body and having a lumen therethrough with a drop dispensing orifice. A cap enclosed the elongated tip and includes enclosed with a nub for sealing the orifice to prevent autoclave produced pressure leaks.
