A valve assembly includes a first sleeve defining a piston bore therein. A second sleeve defines a piston bore therein. The piston bore of the first sleeve and the piston bore of the second sleeve are axially aligned. A piston is slidingly engaged in the piston bores of the first and second sleeves. A seal carrier with a plurality of pieces is axially between the first sleeve and the second sleeve. The plurality of pieces of the multi-piece seal carrier are circumferentially spaced apart from one another.

A filter screen includes a plate body with an upstream surface, an opposed downstream surface, and an array of apertures extending between the upstream surface and the downstream surface. A polytetrafluoroethylene-based layer overlays the upstream surface between apertures of the aperture array, the polytetrafluorethylene-based layer being conformally disposed over the upstream surface of the plate body and spanning the upstream surface between the apertures of the aperture array to slow deposition of carbonaceous deposits on the filter screen.

Filter screens and methods of making filter screens

A port shield for a pneumatic actuator with a casing wall includes a sheet and a connecting member. The sheet includes an outer face disposed opposite an inner face, a first end disposed opposite a second end, and a first edge disposed opposite a second edge. The sheet also includes a bend formed in the sheet between the first edge and the second edge, wherein the bend extends from the first end to the second end and forms an apex on the outer face of the sheet. The connecting member extends from the sheet and is configured to connect the sheet to an outer side of the casing wall of the pneumatic actuator.

Pneumatic port shield

An example bypass valve includes a sleeve providing a bore that extends along an axis. The sleeve has at least one window. The bypass valve also includes a spool received within the bore. The spool is configured to move within the bore between a first position that restricts flow through at least one window and a second position that permits flow through the at least one window of the sleeve. An outer diameter of the spool is from 99.90 to 99.95 percent of a diameter of the bore.

Turbomachine windmill bypass valve

A port shield assembly includes a cup, a fitting, and a retaining pin. The cup includes a top with a hole, a sidewall, a cavity defined by the top and the sidewall, and a side port in the side wall. The fitting includes a body with a first end and a second end, a flange at the first end, and a central bore extending from the first end. The fitting also includes a port that communicates with the central bore, and a cross bore near the second end. The fitting extends through the hole of the cup and a retaining pin is disposed in the cross bore to retain the cup between the first end and the second end of the fitting.
