Techniques are provided for integrating source code analysis tools with a code review tool. A user submits a code change to the code review tool and one or more code analysis tools are automatically initiated to analyze the changed code. Results of the code analysis tool(s) are automatically provided back to the code review tool. Additionally or alternatively, one or more tests are automatically run to test one or more executables that are based on the changed code. Results of the test(s) are automatically provided to the code review tool. In this way, an effect of a code change is automatically determined and available for review along with the code change. The results of any code analysis tools and/or tests may be posted synchronously or asynchronously with the corresponding code change.

Integrating quality analysis with a code review tool

An example request change tracker may be used to create, modify, monitor, and report events occurring within a development and testing pipeline with respect to one or more computing applications. A request change tracker may include a pipeline event detector, a testing stage detector, a control module, and a reporting module. The pipeline event detector detects a pipeline event indicative of a status of a code module with respect to a pipeline. The testing stage detector determines the associated testing stage in the pipeline, based on the pipeline event. The control module initiates actions with respect to the pipeline, based on the determined testing stage. The reporting module updates a reporting log with information related to the state, progress and results of a testing stage in the pipeline.

Request change tracker

A product deployment system of an electronic document is described. An example product deployment system includes a deployment processor, a remote execution module, and a plan manager. The deployment processor may be configured to receive a request to deploy an application, generated a deployment plan, provide the deployment plan to the plan manager, and trigger a command to be sent from the remote execution module to the target hosts in the target host set. The plan manager provides the deployment plan to the target host set in response to receiving the identification of the deployment plan from the target host set. The plan manager may also monitor execution of the deployment plan by the target host set without saving a state of deployment process that is being performed at the target host set. The plan manager may also react to perceived failures that may occur at the target host set.

A method () is disclosed of extracting factoids from text repositories, with the factoids being associated with a given factoid category. The method () starts by training a classifier () to recognize factoids relevant to that given factoid category. System and method for extraction of factoids from textual repositories

User-generated tags from viewing web-based content are collected over a predetermined period of time. A subset of distinct or unique tags is identified from among the collected tags. A z-score is calculated for each identified distinct tag, where the z-score is a measure of the statistical significance of the tag. The subset of distinct tags is then sorted based on their corresponding z-score. All distinct tags having a corresponding z-score lower than a predetermined threshold are rejected and the remaining distinct tags, having a corresponding z-score higher than the threshold are used to infer a user's interest. The ability to infer a user's interests from the remaining distinct tags may thus benefit web-based applications by achieving a high degree of accuracy in predicting the interests of users by leveraging on the use of the user generated content tags and keywords.

A computer-implemented method for validating updated business rules. A first set of documents utilized to validate a first set of business rules is provided. A second set of business rules generated from an update of the first set of business rules is received. Each business rule includes input parameters. A second set of documents is received. A template file includes the input parameters and corresponding path expressions. An augmented set of documents includes the first and second sets of documents. The second set of business rules is automatically semantically validated against the augmented set of documents. The semantic validation includes executing the second set of business rules with each document of the augmented set. The executing includes binding, via the path expressions, the input parameters to values included in a document of the augmented set.

A first list comprising user expected universal resource locators (URLs) related to the sub-domain is received. A second list comprising topic expressions defining each node of the taxonomy sub-tree is generated. A query based on the second list is generated. The query is applied on an index of URLs generated from a web crawling process to generate a third list. A recall value is calculated based on the first list and the third list.
