Latch handle

A detachable accessory for a saddle-ride vehicle includes a latching assembly supported on a side plate and having a latch member and handle. The latch member has a hooked latching portion and an elongated portion. The latch member is supported at a fixed pivot on the side plate for rotation between unlatched and latched positions. The handle is supported on the elongated portion and is biased in a first direction so that an end portion of the handle follows the rear edge of the side plate and forms a detent mechanism including a male detent member, a first receptacle to receive the male member to hold the latch member in the unlatched position and a second receptacle to receive the male member to hold the latch member in the latched position. The first receptacle is shallower than the second. A cam surface extends from the first receptacle to the second.

Detachable accessory and latch for same

A motorcycle includes a frame, a rear fender coupled to a rear portion of the frame, an accessory support structure and a pair of docking structures. The frame defines a longitudinal center axis, the motorcycle having left and right sides divided by the longitudinal axis. The accessory support structure is positioned laterally adjacent to both left and right sides of the rear fender. The pair of docking structures each includes a lug secured to the frame and extending transverse to the longitudinal center axis, and a hollow fitting positionable on the lug in a plurality of different rotational orientations about a mutual axis of the lug and the fitting. The fitting defines a docking surface with a non-circular cross-section. Lateral offset of the docking surface may be adjustable by reversing the fitting on the lug.

Adjustable accessory mount

A motorcycle having an open-air cockpit area and a seat configured to receive a rider and position the rider within the open-air cockpit area. A luggage container defines a substantially enclosed cargo volume, and the luggage container is configured to open to provide selective access to the cargo volume. A speaker is configured to output sound in response to signals from a source. A speaker enclosure at least partially encloses the speaker. A bass-reflex passage couples an interior space of the sparker enclosure and the cargo volume of the luggage container.

The tool and fastener free connection of the seat cover with the seat base provides for a convenient, repeatable, and secure connection of the seat cover with the seat base. A seat assembly constructed according to the present invention also provides for the convenient and expeditious connection of a plurality of seat assembly elements. The fastener free connection between the multiple components of the seat assembly provides for the economical manufacture and assembly of the seat assembly. Such a construction provides a multi-piece seat assembly wherein the components of the seat assembly can be connected without fasteners and without tools.
