Aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to systems and methods for flight control of aircrafts driven by electric propulsion systems and in other types of vehicles. In some embodiments, a computer-implemented method for controlling an aircraft is disclosed, comprising: receiving, from a source processor, a first copy of a signal corresponding to an input device; sending a second copy of the signal to all other processors; receiving a number of second copies of the signal from all other processors, the number of second copies being equal to the number of all other processors excluding the source processor; determining a consensus signal based on the first copy and the second copies of the signal; and determining a command signal for an effector of the aircraft based on the consensus signal, and wherein no two processors are configured to receive signals from a same input device.

Fault-tolerant multi-processor systems and methods for an aircraft

Aspects of this present disclosure relate to flight control of electric aircrafts and other vehicles. In one embodiment, an aircraft is disclosed comprising: a fuselage; two wings; a plurality of lift propellers, the lift propellers disposed aft of the wings during forward flight; plurality of tilt propellers that are tiltable between vertical lift and forward propulsion configurations, the tilt propellers disposed forward of the wings during forward flight; a plurality of tilt propellor actuators that tilt propellers between vertical lift and forward propulsion configurations, the tilt propellor actuators on opposite sides of the fuselage; and a plurality of electrical buses coupled to a flight control computer; wherein the flight control computer is configured to provide control signals for at least one of the lift propellers mounted to one of the wings and one of the tilt propellers mounted to the other wing via the same electrical bus.

Systems and methods for flight control of EVTOL aircraft

One or more battery sub-modules are selected by obtaining at least one voltage from each battery sub-module and selecting based at least in part on the obtained voltages. The battery sub-modules are electrically connected in series in order to provide power to a primary load. Each battery sub-module includes a plurality of cells electrically connected in series and each battery sub-module further includes a battery management system that monitors the cells in that battery sub-module. Those battery management systems in the selected sub-modules are turned off so that the battery management systems in the selected sub-modules do not consume power at least temporarily from the cells in the selected sub-modules while (1) the battery sub-modules are not providing power to the primary load and (2) the battery sub-modules are not being charged.

A system and method are described for managing the state of an online video game. A method includes initiating a new online video game in response to user input from a client device, the online video game being in a first state on a first server when initiated; executing the online video game on the server, thereby causing the online video game to enter a second state; pausing or terminating the online video game; determining differences between the first state and the second state and generating difference data containing the differences; transmitting the difference data over a network to a second server; and recreating the second state from the difference data and the first state in response to user input indicating that the user wishes to resume the online video game and in response to the second server being selected as the server on which to execute the video game.

System and method for streaming game video

A computer-implemented system and method for streaming video from a server to a client are described. For example, a method according to one embodiment comprises: receiving at the server a request for video content from the client; in response to the request, determining the hardware/software configuration of the client; generating and/or selecting a temporary decoder based on the hardware/software configuration of the client; transmitting the temporary decoder to the client, the client installing the temporary decoder; encoding and streaming the requested video content from the server to the client, the video content being encoded based on the capabilities of the temporary decoder, the video content being decoded by the temporary decoder and rendered on the client; detecting that the client has ended the session with the server; and in response to detecting that the client has ended the session, temporarily disabling and/or removing the temporary decoder from the client.

The one or more definition files are parsed to extract flight control system definition data. A communication topology comprising a set of entities of the flight control system and communication links between said entities is determined based on the flight control system definition data. A set of one or more routing tables is generated programmatically based at least in part on the communication topology and message type definition data. Flight code to implement a flight control system defined at least in part by said flight control system definition data is generating programmatically, based at least in part on the flight control system definition data, including code to route messages according to said one or more routing tables.

A metric is received for each battery sub-module in a plurality of battery sub-modules in order to obtain a plurality of metrics associated with the plurality of battery sub-modules. One or more battery sub-modules are selected from the plurality of battery sub-modules to electrically connect to a common power bus. The selected battery sub-modules are configured so that the selected battery sub-modules are electrically connected to the common power bus. The selected battery sub-modules that are electrically connected to the common power bus are charged.
