According to an embodiment, a system can comprise a memory that stores computer executable components and a processor that executes the computer executable components stored in the memory. The computer executable components can comprise an output receiving component that can receive, in response to a request, output representative of a quantum state of a qubit of a quantum computing device, and a classifying component that classifies the quantum state of the qubit of the quantum computing device based on the output representative of the quantum state of the qubit. The system can further include a configuring component that can configure the classifying component based on a characteristic of the request.

A quantum circuit generator for a quantum computer includes a controller; and a plurality of analog conversion units (ACUs) operatively connected to the controller, each ACU being operatively connected to a corresponding qubit of a plurality of qubits, wherein each ACU is configured to convert a digital input from the controller into an analog input at a microwave frequency to control a quantum state of the corresponding qubit. The controller is configured to generate a quantum circuit using at least two qubits of the plurality of qubits, the at least two qubits being selected by the controller based on corresponding classical bits being mapped by the controller and based on latency of the generated quantum circuit so that the generated quantum circuit has a latency less than a threshold latency.

Responsive to detecting the application attempting to access the particular type of sensor data from the first mobile device, the first mobile device can receive first sensor data from at least a second mobile device via at least a first low energy communication link, wherein the first sensor data received from the second mobile device is the particular type of sensor data the application is attempting to access, and the first mobile device can execute program code configured to provide the particular type of sensor data, and providing the first sensor data received from the second mobile device to the application.

Disclosed is a method and an apparatus, as well as a computer program, for associating digitizer tablet stroke samples with entries in an electronic personal information management (PIM) tool, such as an electronic organizer or an electronic calendar. A stroke database has a plurality of time stamped stroke entries, and a PIM database has a plurality of entries each having a time associated therewith. A controller searches at least one of the stroke database and the PIM database to locate corresponding entries in each database that indicate that a particular one of the stroke entries was created at a time that corresponds to a particular one of the PIM database entries. The controller is responsive to the search being successful for forming a link between the stroke entry and the PIM database entry for enabling corresponding stroke information to be visualized in association with the particular one of the PIM database entries. In accordance with these teachings, and by example, a user is enabled to recall and view handwritten notes and other information that were made during a meeting that corresponds to an entry within the organizer database.

Method and apparatus for linking electronic ink to electronic personal information systems

Biphase or FM encoding is combined with Flash modulation in infrared (IR) communication. By shrinking the coded pulse width in the modulation process, power dissipation is effectively reduced to the point where FM encoding can be advantageously adapted to IR communication in a synchronous communication system. Noise filtering is also described.

A modulation scheme and system, compatible with both the asynchronous IRDA mode and the synchronous mode of IR communication, involves Non-Return-to-Zero-Inverted (NRZI) and Flash pulse encoding in conjunction with zero-bit stuffing. A digital data stream has a zero-bit inserted therein, before NRZI format encoding, whenever five consecutive one's are detected in the stream to enable the controller to distinguish the data from flags, which are exempt from the zero-bit insertion, and to provide enough transitions in the data so that the demodulator's digital phase lock loop can stay locked independent of the data contents. A Flash pulse (of from 3/16 to 8/16 of bit cell width, depending on the data rate) is generated whenever a transition is detected in the NRZI formatted data. The result, in keeping with IRDA modulation, is that a Flash pulse is generated whenever a zero occurs in the data stream. On the demodulation side, whenever a Flash pulse is received, the level of the receive line is toggled resulting in an output in NRZI format. Using this modulation scheme with a serial controller which supports NRZI and bit-stuffing, a system may be constructed that uses the controller's phase lock loop to send and receive data synchronously.
