An active deck suspension system for use in marine vessels having a hull and an operator deck. A custom chassis includes pneumatic cylinders which absorb impact forces acting upon the boat hull or suspension deck, and also includes auxiliary emergency jacks. The chassis includes an upper support member which is affixed to the suspension deck, and a lower base support which is complementary to, and mates with, the bottom of the hull. The suspension deck will deflect, in a controlled manner, upon the boat encountering impact forces created by rough seas, or the like. The system includes control circuitry and constantly monitors the suspension deck to automatically compensate for load forces, and thereby provides a substantially improved occupant ride.

Active deck suspension system

A composite material for vehicle hulls and a hull molding process comprising a gel coat, a skin coat, a bulk fiberglass layer and adhesive applied to a top mating surface and a bottom mating surface within a top mold and a bottom mold, wherein the adhesive forms a connector. The two molds are placed together, and after the adhesive sets, foam is introduced into at least one cavity formed when the molds are brought together. The molds remain closed while the foam is introduced.

Composite material for vehicle hulls and a hull molding process

A sliding elevated pilot deck section (&ldquo;SEPDS&rdquo;), including a main deck segment with an upper portion and a lower portion and an engine compartment chamber generally in the middle of the upper portion of the main deck segment, a moving rear pilot deck assembly (&ldquo;RPDA&rdquo;), and means for moving the RPDA along the main deck section toward and away from the transom of the vessel.
