A connector assembly for multiple components includes a dog having an engagement feature configured to engage a first component while the dog is in a locked position. The connector assembly also includes a lock ring disposed about the dog along a circumferential axis of the connector assembly. One of the dog or the lock ring includes a cam surface, the other of the dog or the lock ring includes a driver, and the driver is configured to move along the cam surface in response to rotation of the lock ring and/or the dog along the circumferential axis to drive the dog to the locked position.

Connector assembly for multiple components

A subsea production system for a well including a subsea production tree, a tubing hanger, and a production tubing extending into the well and supported by the tubing hanger. A downhole equipment suspension system includes a suspension head supported directly or indirectly by the production tree above and separately from the tubing hanger. The suspension system also includes downhole equipment inside the production tubing below the tubing hanger and a suspension line extending through the tubing hanger vertical production bore and the production tree vertical bore. The suspension line suspends the downhole equipment from the suspension head.

A system in some embodiments includes a two-part funnel that guides a first component to engage or connect with a second component of a mineral extraction system. The two-part funnel having a first funnel portion, and a second funnel portion, wherein the second funnel portion is configured to be disposed in at least two positions relative to the position of the first funnel portion.

Funnel system and method

A subsea connector for connecting an upper subsea component to a lower subsea component of a drilling, production, or completion system. The subsea connector includes locking members configured to move radially inward to engage the upper and lower subsea components in a locked position, and radially outward to return to an unlocked position. The locking members are hydraulically or mechanically actuatable. The subsea connector particularly may include a locking member such as a dog or collet connector disposed in the subsea connector to lower the bending moment of the system, thereby increasing the bending capacity of the system.

Subsea connector

A pressure-compensated accumulator bottle is provided. In one embodiment, the accumulator bottle includes a housing and an interior wall that generally define first, second, and third chambers within the housing. In this embodiment, a spring is disposed in the second chamber and configured to apply a biasing force on a first piston disposed within the first chamber. Further, in this embodiment, an additional piston is disposed within the third chamber and is configured to facilitate balancing of the pressure of a fluid disposed in the second chamber with the pressure of the external environment such that the magnitude of a second biasing force applied on the first piston by the pressure of the fluid depends at least in part on the pressure of the external environment. Hydraulic circuits and systems including a pressure-compensated accumulator bottle are also disclosed.

Pressure-compensated accumulator bottle

A subsea completion assembly for a subsea well including installed casing and a wellhead. The assembly includes a production casing forming a B annulus between the outside of the production casing and the installed casing. The assembly also includes an annulus access adapter installed in the wellhead, the adapter including a manipulatable valve controlling fluid communication with the fluid in the B annulus across the annulus access adapter. A property of the fluid in the B annulus can be monitored by fluid communicated across the annulus access adapter.

A pressure regulator is provided. In one embodiment, the pressure regulator includes a body having an internal cavity for receiving a pressurized medium and inlet and outlet ports that enable a pressurized medium to enter the internal cavity at a first pressure and exit at a second pressure. The exemplary pressure regulator also includes a control piston disposed within the internal cavity that is configured to move in response to a change in pressure within the internal cavity. The pressure regulator of this embodiment also includes a damping feature within the internal cavity that is configured to oppose the movement of the control piston. Other embodiments of pressure regulators and systems are also provided.

Device for regulating pressure

A pressure regulator is provided. In one embodiment, the pressure regulator includes a housing having a supply port for receiving a pressurized medium within the housing and an outlet port for outputting the pressurized medium to a downstream device. The housing of this embodiment also includes a vent port for venting the pressurized medium from the housing. The pressure regulator of this embodiment further includes two pistons disposed within the housing, wherein one piston controls flow of the pressurized medium through the supply port, and the other piston controls flow of the pressurized medium through the vent port, based on the level of pressure within the housing. Other embodiments of pressure regulator devices and systems are also provided.

A pressure compensated shear seal solenoid valve for use in subsea control systems is disclosed utilizing an arcuate cross section fluid passageway to improve flow rates, ease of serviceability and reduce size.

An automatic locking mechanism for a telescoping joint for a riser functions in several modes. In an operating mode, the joint is free to have its inner and outer barrels move with respect to each other without engaging each other in a locking relationship. In a second position, the telescoping joint locks when it is fully retracted. In a third position, the system locks the inner and outer barrels together to hold them in a fixed position. The inner and outer barrels are locked when a movable sleeve is properly positioned to allow spring-loaded dogs to be biased through windows in the sleeve so as to act as a landing shoulder to catch a groove on the outer barrel. By putting the actuating sleeve in a variety of positions, the various modes of the locking assembly can be deployed.
