An ingress control system utilizes magnetic detection to determine whether the ingress control system is either allowing or disallowing ingress into a controlled area. The ingress control system includes a latch pin that is movably disposed within a latch assembly in the presence of a magnetic field. The magnetic field is created by a plurality of magnets disposed at non-zero angles relative to each other and the latch pin and latch assembly are introduced as magnetic poles disposed within the magnetic field. A magnetic sensor detects the presence of the latch pin within a receiving channel of the latch assembly by measuring a magnetic field magnitude above a threshold value. The magnetic sensor detects the absence of the latch pin within a receiving channel of the latch assembly by measuring a magnetic field magnitude below the threshold value.

Intelligent lock and latch control system

A light emitting diode (LED) system that includes a LED, a heat sink, a fan housing, a fan, and a cover is disclosed. The heat sink is typically coupled to the LED, and the fan housing is typically coupled to the heat sink opposite the LED. The fan housing includes a fan housing aperture that extends through the fan housing and at least partially houses the fan. A cover may be coupled to the fan housing opposite the heat sink. The system may include at least one air intake opening and at least one air exhaust opening. When activated, the fan may external air into the fan housing through the air intake opening and direct the air toward the heat sink and ultimately through the air exhaust opening. In so doing, the temperature of the heat sink and the LED is reduced.

A light emitting diode (LED) system that includes a LED, a heat sink, a fan housing, a fan, and a cover is disclosed. The heat sink is typically coupled to the LED, and the fan housing is typically coupled to the heat sink opposite the LED. The fan housing is sized to fit within an electrical junction box and includes a fan housing aperture that extends through the fan housing. A cover may be coupled to the fan housing opposite the heat sink. The system may include at least one air intake opening and at least one air exhaust opening. When activated, the fan may external air into the fan housing through the air intake opening and direct the air toward the heat sink and ultimately through the air exhaust opening. In so doing, the temperature of the heat sink and the LED is reduced.

A hooded light head assembly for providing directional lighting is provided which comprises a light housing having a hood. The light housing has an internal light source and a rear attachment surface that has an insert extension. The insert extension is configured to attach the light housing to mounting surface upon insertion into an opening in the mounting surface and upon rotation of the light housing relative to the mounting surface. Some of these hoods also have a locking tab extending rearward from the surface that may prevent removal of the hood from the mounting surface. The light head may also have a controller having touch sensitivity and set to indicate light head status and prevent reversed current through the light heads. An arrow board using the controller and light heads may be easily installed and may be durable and reliable in outdoor conditions.

A strobe light includes a base, a mounting post, a plurality of light emitting diodes (LED) lights, a lens, and a channel. The mounting post extends vertically from the base. The plurality of LED lights are mounted around a periphery of the mounting post. The lens is connected to the base and covers the mounting post and the plurality of LED lights. The channel extends through the base, mounting post and lens. Air flowing through the channel transfers heat generated by the plurality of LED lights out of the strobe light.

A light emitting diode (LED) light bulb device can comprise a semiconductor chip comprising an input coupled to an AC power supply and a plurality of DC power outputs, a plurality of banks of LEDs coupled to the plurality of DC power outputs, and a fan coupled in parallel with a first of the plurality of banks of LEDs. The fan can be coupled to the first bank of LEDs through a filter comprising a diode, a resistor, and a capacitor. The capacitor can be coupled in parallel with the fan and be configured to supply a voltage to the fan while the plurality of banks of LEDs are alternately receiving power. The LED light bulb device can further comprising a WiFi receiver and include a height in a range between 2.5-6.875 centimeters and include a volume small enough to be enclosed in a standard j-box housing.

A light emitting diode (LED) whip light assembly includes a base and an LED light assembly. The base is configured to mount to an elongate whip rod. The LED light assembly is mounted to the base and includes a plurality of LED lights, an LED circuit, and a lens. The LED circuit includes a circuit board to which the plurality of LED lights are mounted. The lens is mounted to the base with a releasable, liquid-tight connection and covers the plurality of LED lights.

A strobe light includes a base, a mounting post, a plurality of light emitting diode (LED) lights, a control system, and a lens. The mounting post extends vertically from the base. The plurality of LED lights are mounted around a periphery of the mounting post. The control system is coupled to the plurality of LED lights and operable to independently control each LED light to produce at least one of a 360&#xb0; strobe light pattern and a rotating beacon light pattern. The lens is connected to the base and covers the plurality of LED lights.

LED whip light

A barricade light includes a light member, a receiver, a transmitter and a controller. The receiver is configured to receive an incoming signal from an adjacent barricade light and deliver the incoming signal to the controller. The incoming signal includes information about a position of the adjacent barricade light in a row of barricade lights. The controller is configured to determine a position of the barricade light in the row of barricade lights based on the information, synchronize operation of the light member to the adjacent barricade light, and transmit an outgoing signal via the transmitter. The outgoing signal includes information about a position of the barricade light in the row of barricade lights.
