The first ray multi-tool is configured for securement to the first metatarsal using a fixation method. The first ray multi-tool is also configured to be secured to the medial cuneiform. The cuneiform cut guide is configured for removable attachment to the first ray multi-tool and is configured to guide the surgeon to perform the cuneiform head cut. The compressor-distractor is configured to apply a force to the first ray multi-tool such that the position of the first metatarsal may be adjusted toward or away from the medial cuneiform.

The previous game path may include, but is not limited to, a 'best time' path, a 'worst time' path, and an &#x201c;average time&#x201d; path. In one embodiment of the invention, the player may gauge game progress as measured against the &#x201c;best time&#x201d; path as displayed via a series of path markers, and subsequently varies player character input controls to optimize performance against a player character associated with the &#x201c;best time&#x201d; path.

A system for preserving data during system migration includes a plurality of workstation computers and a remote site server connected to the plurality of workstation computers. Each workstation computer includes a plurality of files. The remote site server includes a processor that executes instructions on a memory, the memory including instructions for preserving data during system migration.

A combined immobilizing and steering column control system for a vehicle includes a device, a steering wheel, and a vehicle immobilizing system. The device has a transponder for transmitting an identification signal. The steering wheel includes controls and a first inductor. The first inductor transmits a control signal for controlling a vehicle function in response to a corresponding steering wheel control being actuated. The immobilizing system has a second inductor and a controller. The second inductor is operable to sense the identification signal transmitted by the transponder and to sense a control signal transmitted by the first inductor. The controller performs a vehicle immobilizing function in response to the second inductor sensing an identification signal transmitted by the transponder. The controller enables the vehicle function corresponding to an actuated steering wheel control in response to the second inductor sensing the corresponding control signal transmitted by the first inductor.

An improvement in a method of bonding copper and a resin together wherein a copper oxide layer is formed on the surface of copper by the oxidation of metallic copper, the copper oxide layer is reduced to metallic copper with an aqueous reducing solution containing at least one amine borane represented by the general formula: BH,NHRR&prime; (wherein R and R&prime; are each a member selected from the group consisting of H, CH,, and CH,CH,), and the metallic copper is bonded to a resin. According to the improvement, a reducing stabilizer is added to the reducing solution in an amount sufficient to decrease consumption of the amine borane during reduction to a level less than that consumed in the absence of the reducing stabilizer during the course of the copper oxide reduction process, wherein the stabilized reduction process is initiated in a reasonable time and the metallic copper layer resulting from the stabilized reduction process is resistant to acid attack. Examples of such reducing stabilizers include thio-containing (&mdash;C(&boxH;S)NH,) compounds, triazole-containing (C,H,N,) compounds, isoxazole-containing (&mdash;C,HNO) compounds, thiazole-containing (&mdash;NCS&mdash;) compounds, imidazole-containing (&mdash;NCN&mdash;) compounds, and sulfone-containing (&mdash;SO,H) compounds.

Method and composition for amine borane reduction of copper oxide to metallic copper

A composition for reducing a copper oxide layer to metallic copper so as to facilitate bonding a resin to the metallic copper is disclosed. The composition is an aqueous reducing solution containing a cyclic borane compound. Examples of such cyclic borane compounds include those having nitrogen or sulfur as a ring-forming member, such as morpholine borane, piperidine borane, pyridine borane, piperazine borane, 2,6-Iutidine borane, 4-methylmorpholine borane, and 1,4-oxathiane borane, and also N,N-diethylaniline borane.

Composition and method for reducing copper oxide to metallic copper

A composition and method for stripping tin or tin-lead alloys, and any underlying copper-tin intermetallic, from a copper surface. The composition includes an aqueous solution of approximately 5-60% nitric acid by weight, approximately 0.5-30% ferric nitrate by weight, and a nitric acid stabilizer selected from the group consisting of an amino-triazole, an amino-isoxazole, and a linear amino sulfone in the form H.sub.2 N--SO.sub.2 --R, where R is any alkyl or benzene group, wherein the stabilizer is present at a concentration sufficient to inhibit exothermic conditions, emission of toxic NOx gas, and copper attack. A soluble source of halogen ion, such as hydrochloric acid, can be added to the composition to yield a uniform, reflective, bright pink copper appearance, and to further reduce sludge formation. In addition, sludge formation can be eliminated by adding a soluble source of sulfate ion (SO.sub.4.sup.-2) to the composition.
