A stowable stair assembly with step treads connected between stair stringers includes stabilizing legs positioned within a width of the treads and behind the treads. A removable hinge assembly facilitates installation of the stair assembly as well as access to the stair assembly.

A wirelessly electrically-coupled deployable apparatus comprising a deployable structure supported on a supporting structure for motion between a stowed position and a deployed position, an electrically-powered device carried by the deployable structure, a wireless electrical power receiving circuit carried by the deployable structure and connected between the device and a wireless electrical power receiver, and a wireless electrical power transmitting circuit carried by the supporting structure and connected between an electrical power supply and a wireless electrical power transmitter. The wireless electrical power transmitter is carried by the supporting structure, and the wireless electrical power receiver is carried by the deployable structure, in respective positions where wireless electrical power transfer between the wireless electrical power transmitter and receiver powers the device via the receiving circuit when the deployable structure is in its deployed position.

A hinge system includes first and second hinge assemblies. The first hinge assembly includes a first hinge plate with a post and a second hinge plate with a collar configured to selectively receive the post. The second hinge assembly includes a third hinge plate with a counter bore and a keyway and a fourth hinge plate with a key configured to be selectively received within the keyway and the counter bore.

An awning system includes lighting units integrated with support arms thereof. The lighting units are configured to direct light emitted thereby primarily toward a canopy thereof when the canopy is fully deployed.

An awning system includes a housing connectable to a rear of a vehicle and an awning canopy extendable from and retractable into the housing. In an embodiment, a plurality of marker lights is integrated with the housing and oriented to project light in a rearward direction when the housing is attached to the rear of the vehicle. In another embodiment, a rear-facing camera is integrated with the housing and oriented to have a field of view covering an area rearward of the vehicle and below the canopy.

A door closer includes a helical extension spring disposed within a housing. A first end of the spring is attached to a spring anchor attached to a first end of the housing. A second end of the spring is attached to a first end of a strap. The strap passes through a strap guide attached to a second end of the housing. A second end of the strap is configured for attachment to a door jamb. The spring anchor and strap guide are configured for attachment to a door.

A system for attaching a grab handle to a structure adjacent an opening in the structure includes a frame and a bracket attached to the frame. The bracket includes a first portion, a second portion, and a third portion. The first portion defines one or more apertures for receiving fasteners attaching a mount of the grab handle to the bracket. The second portion defines one or more apertures for receiving fasteners attaching the bracket and the door frame to the structure. The third portion may define one or more apertures for receiving fasteners attaching the bracket to the frame.
