A computer programmable end of robot arm tool for picking and placing a plurality of objects arranged in a first array from a first pick location to a second place location where the objects are placed in a second array different from said first array where the spacing between the picking arms is programmable between different spacing arrangements including during the pick and place arm movement.

A package sort cell includes a robot with an end of arm tool for transporting packages from an in-feed conveyor to a selected one of a plurality of out-feed conveyors or bins, the robot receiving instruction from the package reader as to which of the plurality of conveyors or bins to hand-off the package. An end of arm tool may be in the configuration of a conveyor which may be aligned with the out-feed conveyor on a bottom up movement. The end of arm tool may also be in the configuration of a hanging carriage frame suspending a conveyor in a top down movement. A worker platform may be provided which may be movable between in-use and out-of-use positions whereby upon robot downtime, the platform may move into the in-use position for a worker to temporarily takeover the transfer functions of the robot. A plurality of sort cells may be arranged in side by side relation adjacent a like plurality of package delivery points (e.g., truck bays) and include diverter conveyors to allow diversion of a selected quantity of packages from one cell to an adjacent cell when the adjacent cell has no associated package delivery occurring at that time.

A cannabis bud sorting, picking and filling system includes a computer vision system operable to view and estimate the weight of a plurality of buds on a bud picking tray and to direct a bud picker robot to pick a plurality of buds from the bud picking tray and deposit the picked buds in an amount to load a container to its predetermined loaded target weight. A computer vision system acquires a digital image of product items having a product type, identifying each product item in the image, determining a pixel-based area for each identified product item, predicting a weight of each identified product item based on a size thereof, the determined pixel-based area and a predetermined density based on the product type, grouping, based on the predicted weights, the identified product items into groups satisfying the target weight, and automatedly picking and placing each group into a container.

Bud sorting and packaging apparatus, systems and methods

An isolator to electrically isolate the A/C and D/C ground planes in a refrigerant network. When positioned along conductive refrigerant lines flowing with a dielectric refrigerant, the isolator is formed of a material which will prevent refrigerant permeation through its walls, and is further designed with dimensions that will prevent material breakdown and potentially damaging arcing due to triboelectric effect.
