A torque converter includes an impeller having an impeller shell and an impeller hub attached to a radially extending end of the impeller shell. The torque converter further includes a cap slidably engageable with the impeller hub. The cap includes a base and an inner ring portion. The inner ring portion is configured to be received by the impeller hub and includes an end spaced from the base. The end is configured to extend radially outside of an inner surface of the impeller hub in an installed position.

A drive arrangement for a torque converter is disclosed herein. The drive arrangement includes a first drive plate element configured to be connected to a torque converter cover and configured to secure a rotor of an electric motor against the torque converter cover. A torque converter centering sleeve assembly is disclosed herein that includes an anti-contamination plate. The assembly includes a centering sleeve including a body. A plate, i.e. an anti-contamination plate, is arranged inside of the centering sleeve. The plate includes at least a first portion and a second portion in contact with an inner surface of the centering sleeve such that the plate partitions off a pocket defined by the centering sleeve. The plate can be secured to the centering sleeve via a snap fit or press fit.

A hybrid module includes a rotor carrier. The hybrid module further includes a rotor segment supported by the rotor carrier. The hybrid module further includes a torque converter having an impeller having an impeller shell fixed to the rotor carrier. The impeller shell and the rotor carrier define a housing therebetween. The torque converter further includes a turbine having a turbine shell in fluid communication with the impeller shell. The turbine is disposed within the housing. The hybrid module further includes a drive plate assembly disposed external to the housing. The drive plate assembly includes an inner drive plate fixed to the rotor carrier. The drive plate assembly further includes an outer drive plate fixed to the inner drive plate and configured to receive a torque.

A hybrid module comprising a housing, a torque converter, and a resolver assembly is provided. The torque converter comprises a turbine having a turbine shell including at least one blade attached thereto; an impeller having an impeller shell including at least one blade attached thereto; and an impeller hub attached to a radially extending end of the impeller shell. The resolver assembly comprises a rotor connected to an outer surface of the impeller hub and a stator connected to the housing.

A turbine assembly includes a turbine shell, turbine hub, and a thrust washer. The turbine hub is coupled to the turbine shell via a fastener. The thrust washer is disposed on the turbine hub and includes at least one tab configured to contact the fastener. The fastener axially and radially retains the thrust washer on the turbine hub.
